"Cozy Assisted Living Falls Short for Our Loved One"
Our family visited the assisted living facility in person. The owner,, had an impressive background and seemed highly skilled with top-notch credentials. However, because it had a cozy, home-like setting and was smaller, it didn't meet our loved one's needs.

"Challenges Resolved"
Our loved one is happy here. Although there were some challenges during their stay, the manager and staff resolved them.

"Disappointing Experience at Avid Care Cottages Assisted Living Facility"
This place was really bad. It wasn't just old, it needed fixing up. The furniture was old and worn out. Someone even pointed out a chair that was broken. While we were talking, we noticed that one of the residents had an accident. My mom told the staff, but they didn't do anything until much later. They said she does that a lot and it's okay. We waited around for a while until finally, someone came to help. I won't be bringing any of my family here.

"Good tour, but not the right location for mom."
I have no complaints about my tour of this place for my mom. The staff showed up on time and answered all my questions. I liked the activity programs they had for the residents and the dining menu. It just wasn't the best location for my mom right now.

"Avid Cottages: Exceptional Care and Love for Patients"
Avid Cottages is the best place my stepfather has ever been. He’s been to three other facilities. The staff is loving and helpful, taking great care of him. He’s always clean and comfortable. Adel Givings, the owner, is awesome and truly cares about her patients.

"Inadequate Staff and Subpar Services at Assisted Living Facility"
This isn't a decent home. I took a tour, and the staff hardly spoke English. There were only two of them, and they sleep at night. I noticed they were trying to make lunch last longer. My mom won't be coming here.

"Improving Assisted Living with Helen’s Efforts"
The cost is high, but they offer a lot of services. The main issue is the food—they struggle with diabetic meals. Helen’s daughter sometimes buys groceries well, but other times it’s just sandwiches. They should also get affordable internet for better communication.
