"Good care, missed promises, minor issues"
It's a very nice place. Care for residents is very good. My only comment is my parents didn't receive the promised welcome. We dealt with [name], who is no longer there. They didn't get a tour or understand some activities. Other than that, no issues.

"Expensive care, levels keep increasing. One-price options preferred."
We really liked Azalea Trails at first, but we loved them. However, it became too expensive when Dad got sick. They increased his care to over a month. That's too much for the average person and shouldn't be allowed. The increased price isn't acceptable. We'd definitely choose a place with one price for all levels.

"Great Care, Expensive Fees"
Azalea Trails is really good, but it costs a lot. When we started, we needed the least care, but in just two months, we had to move up to the most care. The care they give is excellent. If you're searching for memory care, I suggest finding a place without different levels of care because you'll always need more. Look for a place that charges one price that includes everything instead of adding on extra charges.

"Pulled a fast one: No refund after violating promises"
It's really hard to get back money when the place doesn't follow through on what it says it'll do for you. Like, they said they would let my family member join on a weekend, and after I made a bunch of calls to plan it, someone else at the place said there's no way they do weekend admits. The big boss wouldn't give back the cash we handed over for the weekend admit.

"Misleading Promises and Deficient Care at Azalea Trails Facility"
We picked Azalea Trails for my mother-in-law's memory care. She had a condition called Lewy Body Dementia. The facility promised they would provide the care she needed and their marketing stuff was amazing. But it was all untrue. They couldn't give the care they promised. The staff didn't seem to like their jobs and it was clear. Instead of kindness and patience, they were unhappy and upset. They even claimed they had given my mother-in-law a shower but her towels were untouched and her hair dry. There's a lot more... The management was coping with being short-handed and there was barely any supervision. Yes, it was during a pandemic, but good care should still be possible. All we wanted from Azalea Trails was to...

"Highly Recommended Assisted Living!"
My mom is happy and content in this community. The staff is friendly, responsive, and open to feedback. Overall, we're very pleased with them. The room sizes are great, and she enjoys the food most of the time. I would recommend this community.
