"Clean, Friendly, and Nurturing Environment"
During the brief stay of my mother-in-law at Belmont, I found it to be clean, and the staff were very nice and easy to talk to. They took good care of the residents, who appeared happy and well looked after. The facility itself was well maintained and tidy.

"Good experience, needs better family updates."
The only frustration I've had is that since our loved one can’t communicate with us, I wish the staff would update our family more. Overall, it has been a good experience, and I would recommend Belmont Village Hunters Creek to others.

"Attractive Facility; Poor Care & Dangerous for Dementia Patients"
This place looks nice, but the care is seriously lacking. The leadership isn't strong, and the staff don't seem skilled or well-supervised. It's not a safe place for an elderly person with dementia.

"Poor care and Ignored complaints at Belmont Assisted Living"
My dad has been living here for nearly two years. He's in the care ward for people with dementia and has issues with bladder control. His care has been dropping in quality. There was one day where he was left in his wheelchair for a full day and no explanation was given besides him mentioning that he wasn't tired. He is sick and we are paying Belmont to care for him. Despite this, they allowed him to sit in his urine for a day. We tried to speak with the management about this, but they didn't get back to us. Recently, the camera in his room showed a Personal Assistance Liaison holding his anxiety-easing weighted blanket over his face, only exposing his forehead. The same PAL was seen pushing her body onto him and covering his nose and mouth with the blanket. We're paying for a PAL to help him and take him to the restroom every few hours. Still, most days he is never changed or taken to the bathroom.

"Busy Staff, Unanswered Questions at Assisted Living"
Perhaps this place is okay for care and help, but I’ve tried calling a bunch to talk to the case manager or the boss in Woodward to get some answers, and the workers keep saying she’s too busy to talk to me. Makes you wonder, is it really that great for the folks living there?

"Exceptional care and support from Hunters Creek staff"
I've been extremely happy with our time at Hunters Creek for 2 1/2 years. The management and staff have shown great care for both my parents and worked closely with me. They created wonderful activities for my mother and others, always smiling, and sent me pictures of my parents, which is comforting since I don't live nearby. Their love for the residents is so heartwarming. The staff in both the neighborhood and assisted living, where my father has lived, have been very caring and helped with my parents' needs. The nursing staff has been attentive, especially to my mother, and checked on my father when needed. She has been outstanding, showing care and love for the residents. When my mother went to the hospital and later to hospice at Belmont, she helped coordinate everything and was there for me. Even though she said she couldn't attend my mother's funeral, I saw her there, which meant a lot. Belmont has created a wonderful place where my parents have thrived, giving us great comfort and peace of mind.

"Disappointing Experience and Lack of Care at Assisted Living Facility"
My father was placed in this facility for about a month and a half. Very early into his stay, he fell very sick and unfortunately, no care was provided to him. Eventually, the whole place was put on lockdown. He lost a significant amount of weight during that period due to lack of adequate care. The nursing staff and healthcare assistants were not supportive and proactive to my dad's wellbeing. Once, I got an urgent call that he needed certain items, so I braved the heavy traffic to rush over. I found my dad in dire health condition, uttering incoherently and his blood pressure dropped drastically. My plea for help fell on deaf ears. By the following week, I had no choice but to remove him from the facility.

"High-End Dining, Cozy Rooms"
I visited this place while searching for a spot for my mom. The facility is nice, but it's pricey and more care than she needs. The building feels almost like a hotel, with tiny rooms. It's better suited for people who require constant companionship. Everyone seemed happy, and cleanliness was good. They emphasized their dining area, which felt like a high-end restaurant with an expensive chef, although I didn't get to try the food.

Grateful daughter
"Great care and activities at Belmont Village Hunters Creek."
Belmont Village Hunters Creek truly is the right place for my mom. Her dementia worsened quickly after my stepfather passed away from Alzheimer's. She became very upset, angry, and tried to leave her care facility in Des Moines, Iowa. The facility eventually said they couldn’t care for her unless we hired a full-time sitter. So, I knew it was time to move her and started looking for a memory care facility in Houston. I checked 15 different places of various prices. Belmont Village stood out the most. When I visited, it was beautiful, clean, cheerful, and well-staffed. I had my sister come from Dallas to see it, and she agreed it was the best choice. We moved Mom to Belmont Village Hunters Creek. The staff were very helpful during the move. Mom adjusted well and is happier now because she’s involved in activities suited to her condition. Unlike before, she is no longer trying to escape and enjoys regular occupational and maintenance therapy. She even gets her hair and nails done at the beauty salon. She needs help with everything, and the staff provide it with care and consistency. I couldn’t be more satisfied with BVHC and hope everyone with a loved one with dementia can find a place as wonderful as this. After 18 months, I still have only praise for how they care for Mom.

"Country Club Vibes with Ritz-Carlton Touch"
This place feels like a country club. The service and food are amazing, and I actually look forward to eating here when I visit. The staff seems to do everything perfectly. They put on incredible shows and events and really go all out. The cleanliness is spotless, and everything is very professional. It doesn't feel institutional at all. It’s like having lunch at a country club and then staying at a fancy hotel. I would definitely recommend it. $15,000.

"Nice Assisted Living, No Skilled Nursing Facility"
It was a really nice place, and the food tasted great. But my dad thought it was a bit fancy for him. The cost was higher than we thought, but overall, it was nice. Keep in mind, though, they don't have a nursing facility on-site. So if my dad needed nursing care, he'd have to find another place.

"High Prices and Inconsistent Sales Practices"
My family member has been living here for a while now. The place is new and neat, but the cost is way too high. It's always quiet in the halls and I feel like the care isn't the best. Keep an eye on the lady in charge of sales. Before we moved in here, the price kept changing - it even increased when she found out we'd decided to move in. Make sure you get your quote on paper. Also, the conditions for moving in kept changing. It seemed like she was just trying to meet a quota based on certain dates. We initially picked this place mainly because it was close, but we're now starting to see other places.

"Review of Belmont Village Hunters Creek-Houston, TX"
Belmont Village, Hunters Creek is a pretty and tidy place. But what really matters is the staff—they’re amazing. My family member has been there for over a year and gets treated like family. When they were in the hospital and rehab, BV’s representative visited them multiple times, advocating for their care. The BV staff also helped me with questions during that complicated process. The Circle of Friends program is fantastic, and I trust my loved one is cared for like family every day, whether I’m around or not.

"Nice Place, Bad Care and Poor Customer Service"
The helpers here, the CNA's, aren't very fast to respond. The food tastes good, it's always really clean and looks great. But, the nurses aren't very good. The place is fine, but the care they give isn't. The lady we talked to when we first visited who looked like she'd take a big part, sort of vanished. And whenever we have problems, she doesn't seem to care. If you can look after yourself it might work, but if you need help, it's not the top choice. Honestly, we felt duped.

"Belmont HCV is a blessing for us both!"
Belmont HCV has been a true blessing for both my mom and me. It’s such a relief to know she’s in a safe, secure, and loving place all the time. The "PALS" there are so kind and fun, helping her with her daily routine while treating her with respect and making her smile. The administrative staff is amazing. They made the move feel personal and were incredibly helpful. I’d recommend this place to anyone thinking about making this type of move.

"Tidy Aged Home, Friendly Management, But Care Quality Falls Short"
The place is tidy and well-looked after, and the management is really friendly and supportive. A lot of the people looking after the residents are nice too, but they just don't give the level of care they said they would. It seems like they need more training, especially for caring for individuals with Alzheimer's or dementia. They often go missing when food's being served and I've seen a few being mean or using bad language with the residents, usually when they think nobody's watching. Even though the place is expensive, most families still hire extra private caregivers to ensure their loved ones get proper attention and care. This really let me down.

"Improving Assisted Living Facility with Great Staff Needs More Support"
The folks running things and the workers are great. The nurses do a good job too. The only issue is there aren't enough helpers (the ladies who aid residents). We need more of them, and they should be more careful with details. But they're improving in those areas, so things should be fine.
