"Disappointing Experience at Belmont Assisted Living Facility"
We looked at many retirement homes nearby. Belmont seemed nice. The salesperson said they could meet all of our mom's needs. But that was not true! The service for our mom was very poor. They often made mistakes with her medicines. They wanted her to use their pharmacy, which is expensive. Our mom doesn't want to pay $165 for one medicine there. If there's an emergency and you press the call button, you have to wait 20 to 40 minutes for help. The dining hall is nice, but they run out of food early. Belmont charges a lot, but the service is not good.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Mixed Experience with Bed Adjustment"
We asked them to change the bed 'cause it was too high for my grandma to use easily. But it took them two or three days to do it. Sadly, she fell while getting out of bed and had to go to the emergency room. So, I have some doubts, but I might suggest them to others.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
They seem really honest and caring. We chose this place because they could take care of my mom right away. My mom needs dialysis, and they understood her needs very well.

"Belmont Village Turtle Creek offers friendly, efficient care."
We picked Belmont Village Turtle Creek because it's a smaller place. They helped us right away during an emergency. The director was super friendly, and the head nurse recommended great hospice care. Even though they were short-staffed, we brought our own caregivers. I'd recommend it to others, especially if your loved one is younger and wants to enjoy the amenities." 🌟 Summary: (#tooltip

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
This place has lots of cool stuff like an indoor pool, a good gym, and a big dining area. I like that the nurse’s desk is right on the floor where people live it’s handy if you need help. The rooms are small but have nice bathrooms and high ceilings. The movie room is cool, but it needs to be taken care of better even though the place is only 8 years old, some chairs were in bad shape. It seems like this place costs too much for what you get. Also, the deposit is as much as one month’s rent.

"Belmont Village: Friendly, Fun, and Delicious!"
My time here has been great. I’ve been living here for 1 year and 3 months. Everyone is really nice and helpful. I’ve told a few friends to come here, and I’ll keep doing that. The food is really good. The chef who cooks the fish is from Veracruz, and he knows his stuff. The desserts are amazing. They’re almost too good! The entertainment is fun. Aubrey does a great job with happy hour. They treat everyone equally and don’t discriminate.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living: Pros and Cons Revealed"
This place wasn't quite right for us. It might work for others, especially if they need rehab or want to shift from living independently to assisted living without moving. The pool was nice! The rooms didn't suit my mother-in-law. In a tall building, they're arranged differently, but we found them dim and somewhat chilly. The dark floors made things worse. We also didn't notice a big focus on organizing activities full-time. Since that mattered to us a lot, we decided this place wasn't for us.

"Facility Pros and Cons: Cool Pool but Dark, Less Active Rooms"
We weren't too thrilled about this place for us specifically. It might work well for others and yes, it does have certain perks, like being able to recover there and shifting from independent to assisted living without the need to relocate. The pool was awesome! But my mother-in-law didn't like the rooms. They are different in a tall building, but we found them dark and somewhat chilly. The dark floors just don't help with the feel of the place. And we didn't feel like they really prioritize full-time activity schedules. This mattered a lot to us, so we pretty much ruled out this place.

"A Great Place with Room for Improvement"
Belmont Village is really nice. The people who live there seem to be taken care of well and the staff is really nice. It's a big place with different levels of care and lots of cool programs. They're always making things better. Some people might want it to feel more personal though.

"Great Care and Attentive Service in a Good Community"
We really liked this community, but my mother-in-law wanted to stay in Santa Fe. This place had a solid program and was very attentive to my mom's care and needs. It would have been a good fit for my mother-in-law. The food seemed good, and we talked to the activity director about a wellness program that would have been great for her. I think families would appreciate the care and value here.

"Slow fixes, pricey services; meals good, doctor helpful."
If there's an issue, the director listens, but fixes take time. Meals are fine, doctor visits help. Services lacking, expensive, not worth it.

"Great Place for Loved Ones"
I checked out a few places, and this one stood out. My brother almost moved here, but things didn't line up right. Still, the visit was nice, and everything went smoothly. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the place is well-maintained. Overall, I was happy with it. I'd tell others to consider this place.

"Frustration Mounts at Subpar Assisted Living Facility"
Awful! Almost two years worth of complaints and barely any progress. Whining only holds for short-term fixes, never solid solutions. I can't understand why we keep experiencing the same problems at this assisted living home with cleaning, laundry, and personal hygiene. A new problem with lack of bladder control has only made things worse.

We're really happy with Belmont Village! It took a little while for my loved one to get used to it, but the staff have been super friendly, professional, and helpful the whole time! It's a nice place, and Mom loves the friendly social vibe in the dining room! Does this work for you?

"Starting off strong with Belmont Village Turtle Creek"
I’m really impressed with Belmont Village Turtle Creek. We’ve tried three other assisted living places before, and none of them met our expectations. The cleaning and daily care were unreliable, and the food was so bad that even the staff wouldn’t eat it. The management seemed more interested in the landscaping than in taking care of the residents, and there was a big gap between what was promised and what actually happened. Now that we’re moving into Belmont Village, I’ve already noticed a positive change in my mom’s attitude, which I haven’t seen in years. She’s had a cognitive test and a care plan set up. We hope this will be our last move, although we’ve been disappointed before.

"Fantastic Assisted Living Facility with Great Staff and Beautiful Setting"
We’ve found a great place here after not-so-great experiences elsewhere. The staff are carefully chosen, well-trained, and really kind and knowledgeable. The facility is gorgeous, and everyone takes pride in it like it’s their own home. The activities for seniors are interesting, educational, and fun. The food is top-notch, like eating at a fancy restaurant! Finally, a place where older adults get the respect they deserve.

"BVTC Neglected My Dementia-Stricken Dad, Landed Him in Psyche Ward"
BVTC" - Belmont Village Turtle Creek, failed my father. After witnessing how they neglected my dad and sent him to a psych ward over his standard dementia-behaviors, I urge you to avoid this place. They left us with no backup options for care. They said he could only return if he was non-aggressive and certified, which seems subjective. No one at BVTC talked to us before sending him to the psych ward. Somehow, they also charged us $7,500 for a "30 Day Notice" while my dad was in the psych ward. I advise you to find a home better equipped for dementia patients. It surprised us to see Dad thrown in the psych ward by a facility we thought could handle dementia patients. Their website did suggest they could. The site also claimed they could help maintain brain function through signature, award-winning programs. When our loved ones reach the limits of BVTC's service, shouldn't they inform us before carrying them to a psych ward? Communication would provide us time to arrange other plans, and then, the "30-day notice" could start. Dementia troubles my dad. Maybe yours too, if you read this. How much dementia info do we know and who in your family is an expert? We certainly aren't, and BVTC took advantage of that, landing dad, a former big-time boss, in a local County Psych Ward. When we chose BVTC, it had only been operating for about three months. Their lower patient rate possibly influenced their decision to admit Dad. They signed him up for their "Circle of Friends" for around $7,500 monthly. During one visit, we found Dad in an ambulance, not his room. Staff failed to tell or call or text us. Later, Dad had such severe pain in his room, and no nurses were available. They all were occupied with other patients. After 20 minutes, I had to scream for help, only to be told off for shouting. After everything, BVTC didn't offer alternative placements for dad. Thankfully, Psych Ward did. All they did was bill us. Thanks, Belmont Village! While BVTC looked great and served excellent food, they miserably failed in core areas - staff, handling advanced dementia, and communication with families, doctors, and pharmacists, from my perspective. We believed a dementia care facility would know better than us about dealing with the disease. In my view, BVTC lacks the equipment, experience, and management to handle severe dementia. It might work for mild cases, but not for tougher ones. It felt like we were in a minor league when we needed a major league. I adore my Dad. If I knew before, we would never have chosen Belmont Village Turtle Creek.

"Good care and service, but initial setup could improve."
Overall, I think they are doing well. The start-up process took longer than expected, and not all staff were updated on the care plan in time. However, they are very caring, the place is clean, and they are attentive. The food is good. The first few days could be improved, but overall, they have been very helpful. We are quite satisfied.

"Positive Experience Despite Challenges"
They've been really good, and we're quite pleased with their services. It's a bit expensive, and the program feels more extensive than it actually is. The adjustment has been challenging, but they did an excellent job helping her settle in.

"Luxurious Assisted Living with a Pricey Reputation"
Wow, this place is super fancy! It's definitely the fanciest one we visited. But there aren't many outdoor spaces, and I'm not sure how often residents can go to Lee Park across the street. It's known for being expensive, but their straightforward pricing might be good for some folks.

"Not Quite the Right Fit"
We visited it. Someone said I need to consider if my father-in-law would be more comfortable in a small or big community, which really helped. My in-laws like privacy. The Belmont felt a bit too fancy and strict. Their brain exercises to slow down dementia are amazing, but might be better for younger folks, not my father-in-law.
