"Homey feel, good care, responsive staff, recommend highly."
We liked the facility and rooms; it feels homey and upscale. The different levels of care and activities are great, and having on-site nursing staff is very important to us. I would recommend Belmont without any problem. All interactions between residents and staff have been caring and friendly. The nursing staff has been responsive when needed. While no place is perfect, we are pleased with our mom's care.

"Belmont Village: Great location, warm atmosphere, and updated apartments"
Belmont Village’s location is great for our family. It has a very warm and homey feel, which was a big plus. The activities have improved and continue to get better. Like many other places, Belmont has some staffing issues, but they are doing a great job keeping staff vaccinated and watching over residents’ health and safety. When our loved one moved in, her apartment was newly renovated and everything looked brand new, from the floors to the countertops and cabinet doors.

"Recommended with Reservations"
The place is really nice, and the food is great. But communication needs improvement—it's tough to stay informed about your loved one. Getting updates can be a challenge. Overall, I'd recommend this community based on my experience.

Caregivers Matter
"Disappointing Experience: Unpleasant Assistance and Lack of Coordination"
We moved my mom here because she needed help with showering and going to the bathroom. The place looks nice and they're renovating the apartments. But the staff didn't match up to what was promised. They often seemed unhappy to help, especially at night when there was only one person for the whole floor. One of the daytime caregivers wasn't right for my mom, and when we asked for a change, they forgot to assign someone else for a day and a half. My mom had to wheel herself to get her medicine because nobody helped her. They didn't even notice she hadn't gotten it on time. There's no system to make sure calls for help are answered promptly. My mom was ignored for a day and a half because her room number wasn't on the call. We only stayed for six weeks before moving my mom to a different place where we could hire our own caregivers. It turned out to be a more affordable and better option for her care needs. We expected great care for $10,000/month, but it was a struggle. I wouldn't recommend this place for someone who can't speak up for themselves.

My loved one lives at Belmont Village, and we are thrilled with this place. The staff looks happy and treat the residents warmly. The food is great, and my loved one says she might even gain weight here. She seems very well cared for, and I would definitely recommend Belmont Village to other families.

"Friendly Staff and Great Housekeepers, but More Help Needed"
We had my mother-in-law stay here for a month, and it was a good experience. The staff were friendly, but we didn't realize mom needed more help. The independent and assisted living were mixed together. They would knock on her door, but she mostly stayed in her room. The housekeepers were fantastic, and the cooks were great and very helpful.

"Elegant and Caring Assisted Living Facility"
When it was time to find a new place for my mother-in-law, especially after the hurricane, this place stood out as the most elegant. Everything is very clean, and I believe housekeeping comes in daily. The staff is friendly and easy to talk to. My mother-in-law enjoys the food since there are usually two choices for each meal, so there's always an option she likes. Since she's a smoker, it’s great that Belmont Village has patios where she can smoke. They offer a full calendar of activities each month, including exercise, lectures, bridge games, movie nights, and field trips. The facility is beautiful, warm, and not too spread out. When my mother-in-law recently fell and broke her hip, they called us right away and sent an ambulance quickly. They also check in on residents if they miss a meal. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

"Great place, but costly and may not suit everyone"
The place was really nice, but it was pretty expensive. The staff were very friendly, but I’m not sure it was the best fit for my mom. I think you should go on a tour yourself.

I really like this place. My mom was here for 4 days, went on an outing, and unfortunately fractured her hip. She’ll return after rehab, but we’re not sure when that will be. Overall, I give this facility 5 stars.

"Impressive Assisted Living Facility with Excellent Memory Care Unit"
We visited Belmont Village while searching for care for a family member. It looked really nice! The place was clean and well-maintained, and it's in a convenient spot for us. Everyone I talked to on staff was friendly and seemed professional. However, it felt a bit too big for my loved one's comfort. I was hoping for something all on one floor for her. Still, if my mom ever needs memory care, this would be my top pick. Their memory care unit left a strong impression on me!

"Belmont Village Provides Excellent Care for Our Mother"
Our mother has lived at Belmont Village for four years, first in Assisted Living and now in The Neighborhood (memory care). The management team helped us create the best care plan as her needs grew. The caregivers and nurses are amazing, and we trust their care and kindness. We are happy we chose Belmont Village after looking at many options. We trust the care they give to our mother.

"“Mixed Experience with Caring Staff”"
My father-in-law stays there and needs care around the clock. We sometimes struggle with the staff because they don’t seem fully committed to him since he’ll be leaving soon. However, they’re very professional and friendly, and that deserves recognition.

"Although the facility is older, it's well-maintained and has a Vanderbilt-designed program."
Even though this facility is a little older than the other places I've seen, it's still clean and well taken care of. Vanderbilt University designed their program, and they have a full-time nurse to handle medications and minor health concerns.

"Belmont: A Promising New Home for Mom"
My mom started living at Belmont just two months back. It's pretty soon to tell how it is. I'm way over in Washington state, so I only know what my brothers and sisters tell me from Houston, Texas. Belmont's got a bunch of programs for folks with different levels of memory troubles and for those who don't have any. From what I hear, the people working there are super nice and really look out for you, and everyone says the food's top-notch. The place itself feels cozy and welcoming. After checking out ten other spots, it seems like we picked the best one for our mom. But I gotta say, I haven't been there long enough to see it all myself since I'm not in Houston. Hit me up in half a year for more. Talking about the price, I can't say much because it depends on how big your room is and what kind of help you need, like with medicine, special care for memory loss, or help getting washed up. I didn't mean to hit "more categories" down there, but I can't take it back, so I guess I'll just say everything's great.

"Nurse-Only Drug Care, Memory Support in Assisted Living Facility"
This assisted living place offers medication management with only nurses. They provide care for residents with mild to moderate dementia, and also have a separate memory care facility on site. Renting a studio that comes with medication management costs between $4500 and $5000 monthly.

"Needs Air Conditioning Work; Good Location and Activities"
The air conditioning system could use a tune-up. The humidity levels seemed a bit high. Also, the place could use better lighting. On the positive side, it is conveniently located near a medical center and the activity plans seem decent.
