"Unfriendly Staff"
In an assisted living facility, the building is really clean, which is great! The marketing lady is someone we truly appreciate. The nurse is friendly and makes us feel comfortable. The care staff is also commendable. However, there are some hiccups. The older lady in charge of billing seems a bit lost. She doesn't return emails or phone calls promptly. And now, the new lady overseeing the building isn't exactly friendly. I witnessed her speaking to the nurse in an unprofessional manner. Hopefully, they'll find someone who knows what they're doing. 🤞

"Great Place, But Needs Better Diabetic Food Options"
I am happy with how well my brother has done since he moved there in July 2022. He is more social and healthier now. He really likes the maintenance man, housekeeper, and the old activity director. He doesn’t join in activities, but she always encouraged him. The food has gotten better, but it still needs more veggies and fewer carbs. It’s hard for him to keep his blood sugar in check as a diabetic.

"Great Care, Consider Your Loved One’s Needs Before Choosing"
I would suggest Bluebonnet for folks who don't need a lot of help. The staff there really cares about the residents. But if your loved one can't always make safe choices anymore, assisted living might not be the best fit. For instance, if someone falls often or tries to shower or dress without help when they shouldn't, that's what I mean. If you do decide that assisted living is the right choice after looking into all your options, you might find that Bluebonnet Place is a good fit for you.

We left this place because it’s too expensive. It’s a nice, cozy place. The staff is caring, but there aren’t enough of them. The employees seem unhappy. There aren’t enough activities. Overall, the staff is good, but they are short-staffed and overworked.

My husband likes it here, and the place is really clean. They take great care of him. His needs have gone up since he arrived, but I think that’s normal with the changes and his health. I’m very happy with this community, but I have some questions about the cost and I’m waiting for the director to respond.”

"Lacks Local Touch, Otherwise Good Experience"
We liked Bluebonnet Place. However, we didn’t get to talk to someone local. Our tour was led by a corporate person. Everything looked nice, but we really wanted to speak with a local person to understand the community better.
