"Genuine care and personal attention make Bradfield Terrace stand out"
When I first met at Bradfield Terrace, she immediately asked, How is your mom and how can we help her? Other places I visited just asked how many tours I'd been on. My mom isn’t just a product to be sold, and that's why I chose Bradfield Terrace. They really care about their residents. The staff is great, and the housekeeping is done regularly. They keep in touch with our family well, and they have a newsletter too. The food is good overall, though there are fewer meal options on weekends. The facility has a small number of residents, which I love because everyone knows my mom personally. I really like Bradfield Terrace and would recommend it to other families.

"Great place but visitation needs improvement."
I think Bradfield Place is one of the best in the area, and I looked everywhere. The only issue is with visitation. You have to knock and wait for someone to let you in. They won’t give you the code, so sometimes you have to stand outside in the rain or cold. This needs to be fixed right away. However, the staff is great. They’re very friendly and helpful, and they really care about their residents.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Mixed Experience with Some Concerns"
I wouldn't suggest this place for your loved ones. There have been four different bosses in less than a year and the staff keeps changing. Because of this, the food isn't as good as it used to be. They only take out the trash from the rooms once a week and there's nowhere for the residents to throw it out themselves, which is a big problem for those who have trouble controlling their bladders. Another problem is that the staff doesn't stick around for long. The place is small, with only 54 rooms, which seemed nice at first, but now I'm not so sure. If there's a problem with the care, the nurse gets back to me quickly. But if it's a problem with the whole place, like I've been trying to talk to the director about, it takes forever to hear back. Actually, I've been waiting over a week for them to call me back about a concern I have, and they still haven't. They mostly serve pasta for meals, I think. My loved one wants more choices. There are some activities for the residents, but my loved one wants more variety. Before COVID, our family could come and go using a security code, but now we have to wait for a staff member to let us in, and that takes a long time because they're short-staffed.

"Small, caring assisted living facility exceeds expectations for comfort and care."
This place is much better than any place with 300 beds. It's a very small assisted living place, which is so much better for my friend.

"Convenient Location, But Staff Shortages and Medication Issues"
I've suggested this place before, but right now I'm not satisfied. They don't have enough staff, and they're having trouble managing my mom's medication. The executive director is nice but still learning the ropes, and there has been a lot of staff changes. The only activity I know about is Bingo. When I first visited, this was my top pick because it was convenient and in a good spot.

The community felt very secure and comfortable when we visited. Though we didn’t get to try the food, our friend says the meals are good.

"Neat, friendly community with improving dining and activities"
The community is neat and clean, and the staff is friendly. The food is okay, but residents can now return to the dining room, and activities are restarting. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

"Welcoming, Friendly Place for Mom's New Home"
We just moved our mom in today. It was great that every time we visited before signing up, the staff was always warm, helpful, and friendly. We often showed up without warning, and they were always nice. I think our mother will really like living here.

"A Caring Place with Spacious Rooms and Good Staff"
Bradfield Place is a nice place we chose for my mom. She’s still getting used to her new home. The staff is very friendly and always makes me feel welcome when I visit. They keep the grounds neat, and my mom enjoys the flowers in the planters around the community. Her room is clean and spacious. She doesn't like the food served and prefers her own cooking. They provide transportation for shopping and doctor appointments. I appreciate how welcoming they are and how they keep me updated on my mom's well-being. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

This place seemed really nice when I went to visit. The person who showed us around was friendly and knew a lot about the place. They seemed to have some nice stuff to offer. But it was a bit more expensive than what we were hoping for.

"Friendly Staff, Place Well-Kept, But Not For Mom"
I visited this place for my mom and what she needs. The tour was good for the most part. All the people who work there were nice and polite. The place looked like it was kept up well. It was a good visit, but I didn't think this was the right place for my mom.

I'm happy with my dad's move here. Everything's going pretty well. He's safe and in good hands. The staff is amazing, taking good care of him. The place looks nice, but his room could be cleaner. Lots of activities for him, and he likes the food. I'd recommend this place, it's good for our family.

The staff here are super friendly, always ready to answer questions and handle any concerns. They take great care of my mother-in-law. The place is clean and well-kept. She hasn't had any complaints about the food, and they encourage her to join in activities. They keep us updated quickly, and when I first visited, it felt just like home.

"Decent Environment, Lacked in Medical Supervision"
My dad used to live in this place. I think they could have communicated better with us. I believed they would handle his meds and keep an eye on his diabetes. It was a misunderstanding - they thought he could do it himself. They didn't check on him as much as they should have and his blood sugar was high. But the place was clean, and he liked the food.

"Mixed Feelings at Big Community"
My mom was at this place for a bit. It was kinda big for her, which made her feel a bit too much. But the people who worked there were nice, always ready to help, and they cheered her up. The food was alright. They had stuff to do every day, and they made sure the place stayed clean.

"A Thumbs Up for Bradfield Place"
The people who work here are really nice and can handle any problems that come up. My mom doesn't really like the food it's sometimes good and sometimes not so good. They have different things to do, but my mom hasn't joined any of them yet. We liked this smaller place because it feels more independent.

"A Hidden Gem"
It’s been great for him. They’re the only ones who can handle his challenges. The food is good, and the place is really nice and clean. Our family visited, and everyone was friendly except for a few residents who made inappropriate comments. But the staff and management are the sweetest people ever. They’ve gone out of their way to help us. Plus, it’s one of the least expensive places we’ve seen—a true hidden gem.

"Caring Staff, Informative, but Too Much Care for Mom"
The people working here are really nice. They asked a lot about what Mom needs and seemed to really want to help. I thought this place was really good, but it might be better for someone who needs more care than Mom does.

"Mixed Feelings, Overall Positive: Assisted Living Facility Review"
The people who work there were super nice and answered all our questions. The place was pretty clean and easy to get around. But when we checked out the room they offered, the air conditioner wasn't working. We told them, and they said they'd fix it before Grandma moved in. But when we brought her the next day, it still wasn't fixed. We had to wait forever for it to get cool. That was a big problem for me. But once it got fixed, everything was good. The room is quiet and cozy, and Grandma can see the courtyard from her window. There aren't a ton of things to do, but there's enough to keep Grandma busy. Overall, it's a good deal for the money, especially if you're on a tight budget.

"Very Happy with Friendly Staff and Great Activities"
We're really happy with this place. The staff is super friendly I'd give them a six out of five if I could. They offer lots of activities, and the food is great. The staff is very attentive and always responds to us quickly. We also liked that this place isn’t as big as some others we looked at and that they have a Christian focus.

"Miscommunication About Medication Reminders"
This was our first time using respite care, and I think the care was excellent overall. The only problem was a communication issue. Mom has dementia and needs reminders to take her pills, check her blood sugar, and blood pressure. We use a spreadsheet where she writes down the time she does each of these things. To our surprise, when we picked her up, she hadn't taken her pills for 5 days. Besides dementia, she has CHF, GERD, and diabetes. Her sugar level was 362 when we got her home. I didn't realize we needed to sign her up for medication administration. When she asked, "Can she take her meds?" I said yes, because Mom can take them, but her memory is really bad, which is why we have the spreadsheet. I showed the spreadsheet to Barbara and explained what needs to be done. Mom just needs reminders, but the reminders have to be constant until she actually does it.

"Why didn’t I use this service before?"
I used to work for a temporary housing agency that helps people find new places to live if they’ve been displaced by events like fires, floods, or storms. When someone needs assisted living care, I usually have to search through a phone book, make a lot of calls, and check if the places are good. But with this service, all I had to do was make one call and explain what I needed and when. After that, the facilities called me directly. I didn’t have to make lots of calls or check out each place myself. Everything was handled for me, so I just had to arrange a tour for the family and get them settled. This is an AMAZING service!
