"Needs Improvement After Storm Repairs"

The owner is fixing the home after the Harvey storm. I don't believe it's suitable for my mother.

I went to see the house, talked with [name removed] on the phone, but she will be away for 2 weeks. It is too expensive for a private and there is not a semi=private room available. Plus I might have to get a sitter in addition to the 4500 for the room.

"Needs Improvement: A Review of a Vintage Care Home"

This place wasn't great. It got messed up by Harvey and they're still fixing it. It's an old house from the 1950s, not much updated except for adding showers to some bathrooms, which you might have to share. I didn't see their food, but the kitchen doesn't seem like it could make many different things. They only let visitors come at certain times, not very often.

"Old-Timey Care Home Still Recovering from Harvey"

This care home wasn't as good as I expected it to be. It seems like they were still fixing stuff after getting hit by Harvey. The place feels like a 1950's house, and it doesn't look like they've done much to update it, except for adding showers in the bathrooms. Some of the bathrooms are shared between residents too. I didn't get a chance to see the food, but looking at the small kitchen, I doubt they can cook up a variety of meals. They also don't allow guests all the time, with quite limited visiting hours.

"The Perfect Home for Mom We’re So Happy with the Care"

We’re incredibly thankful we found this place for our mom! Susan and her team treat our mom with so much care, like she’s their own. Even though I live far away, I feel totally at ease knowing my mom is in great hands. After a really bad experience before, we’re so happy with her care here. A geriatric care manager helped us find Susan and this place, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with how well they take care of our mom!

"They Treat Residents Like Family and Are Highly Recommended"

When I first visited this place, I liked it a lot. It felt like a blessing to find it. They treat my dad like family, just as I would. They really care about their residents. The staff is very friendly and passionate about their work. They are very hands-on and attentive to everyone. This was the first and last place I looked at. I highly recommend them to anyone.

"Great caregivers and location; furnishings and food quality a concern."

My sister and I visited on Sunday afternoon. The owner wasn't there, but we were really impressed with the caregivers and how everything is set up. My sister worried about the furniture and the food quality, but I liked where it's located and how well the caregivers treat everyone.

Sister and I went to visit on Sunday afternoon. The owner wasn't there, but I was really impressed with the caregivers and how everything was set up. My sister had some concerns about the furniture and the food quality, but I personally loved the location and the caregivers.
