"Overpriced and Outdated Assisted Living Facility"
We visited The Watermark at Broadway Cityview while looking for a place for our loved one. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience. The facility was too expensive, and it felt old and gloomy.

"Appalling Conditions, Poor Treatment at Assisted Living Facility"
My husband was placed into care during Covid. I hadn't seen him in quite a while but was asked to see him at a doctor's visit. As a nurse myself, I was totally shocked by how he looked and his overall health. His clothes were filthy, his fingernails were super long and grimy, and his beard was unkempt. He was seriously ill. His terrible state was so bad that the doctor and nurse practitioner wanted to report the center to State authorities. I asked the center's nurses to clean his nails, but they refused. The image of him in public was so distressing, it frightened me to think about his life at the center. I quickly asked for him to be sent home. My husband passed away only a day and a half after coming home. I've been owed $2,300 for 8 months and despite my many efforts, I haven't received it. Please don't let your family members endure this care center.

"'Deceptive Facility Lacks Adequate Care and Comfortable Living Conditions'"
My husband stayed in this facility for just a week before he died of neglect. The exterior looks impressive, but that's just a cover-up. The interior, especially his room, was pretty drab - just plain white walls with nothing on them. What's more puzzling is that he was in the hospital for two months prior, and he was doing just fine. In my honest opinion, this place isn't suitable even for a dog to live in.

"Great Staff, Small Facility, Busy Street"
The staff at Morada Burleson were great during our tour. They could give Mom the medical care she needs because the place is small, which is a big plus. The building looked a bit old. I didn’t like that it’s on a busy street.

"Overpriced Villa"
I live in a villa. The heater and air conditioning are a bit noisy, but that's okay. The faucets, toilet, and shower are still working fine. Unfortunately, the water pressure isn't great. The kitchen appliances work and are okay. My rent includes two meals a day. Breakfasts on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are great. Other days, they're just okay. The dry cereal comes from a glass jar and gets crushed in the process. The Danish and muffins are the same every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. I stopped going to evening meals because the entrees were terrible. Now, I only go to breakfast and cook my own lunch and dinner. The grounds are well-maintained, and the villa itself is in good shape. However, the management above the first level needs improvement.

"Warning Signs at This Assisted Living Facility"
My husband’s first night here was a mess. No one bothered to check on him. His bandages stayed soaked for a whopping 7 hours, and the bed was way too small. The techs? Not exactly friendly. Now we’re stuck dealing with the hassle of moving him elsewhere. Lesson learned: Do your homework before choosing this place for your loved ones.

"Gated community with private space, but small, outdated kitchen."
This place is like a neighborhood with its own little houses and garages, which I liked. I didn't have any big problems. Everything was pretty good, except for the kitchen—it was small and kind of old-fashioned. The $3595 you pay each month is because of where it is and because it's in a gated community.

"Spacious Facility with Friendly Staff"
I visited this assisted living facility, and I had a positive experience. However, the place is incredibly large. It's pleasant, and the staff was friendly, but I was concerned my mother might get lost. As a result, we chose a different community.

"Great facility with a fantastic guide, but too pricey for us"
Brookdale Broadway Cityview was another place I visited. It was a nice facility, and the guide who showed me around was excellent. We didn’t pick this one because we had to go with the cheapest option, but it’s definitely a great choice for anyone.

"Great staff and layout, but wrong location."
I had a great experience at this community. The staff were friendly and helpful during our tour. The open floor plan with wide hallways and extra space in common areas impressed me. Unfortunately, it wasn't the right location for my loved one.
