"Friendly staff, high costs, good meals."
The staff at Brookdale Kerrville are very friendly. We've heard the meals are really good, and they have several activities. However, because of the high cost and rising rates, we're not sure if we would recommend this community to other families right now.

After my Dad spent 3 years here, the company switched management and replaced the entire team. Unfortunately, things went downhill quickly, and we had to decide to move my dad elsewhere for his well-being.

"Nice place but couldn't accommodate pets and was too expensive"
Brookdale Kerrville seemed really nice to us. The staff there were super friendly and helpful. We really liked it and wanted to live there. But we have a lot of pets, which made it hard to find a place that would let us bring them all. Also, it was more expensive than we could afford.

"Cozy assisted living with COVID precautions."
We picked Brookdale Kerrville because it's a cozy place with lots of activities. They've had some COVID outbreaks, but overall it's okay. I'd recommend it to others.

"Unsanitary Conditions, COVID Outbreaks at Brookdale Assisted Living"
Brookdale has been a nightmare for our family member. There have been outbreaks of COVID – a clear sign of poor management. In terms of cleanliness, they’re not passing the test either. The rooms don't seem to be cleaned correctly and the bathrooms are downright nasty. Walking around the place, your feet stick to the floors – just gross. Brookdale is a disaster, many other families share our terrifying experiences, and, sadly, our beloved relative is living in misery. This place is so disappointing.

"Great care and helpful staff, food could be better"
My loved one is happy and well cared for here. The food is just okay, but the management staff is always ready to help out whenever needed. I would definitely recommend this community to others.

"Safe, Clean, and Caring Community for Our Parents"
We've only visited twice, but the community is always really nice, clean, and tidy. Our parents love it there, especially our mom. She enjoys doing exercise classes and helping bake cookies. We wanted a safe place for our loved ones, where their medication is managed and meals are provided, and this is that place. They have their hands full with our dad, but they're doing a great job. We're very pleased with the staff.

"Top-Notch Care and Fun Activities at Brookdale"
Brookdale is really known for their great care and services. My sister lives there, and we both think it's the best place to be. They do a great job with managing medications and offering daily programs. The group activities are also a highlight. Keeping residents active with these activities helps them stay sharp and makes their days more fun.

"Great care and creative ways to stay connected during visits"
I've been really happy with how the staff at Brookdale Memory Care in Kerrville are going the extra mile to keep our loved ones safe. Even though we can't visit in person right now, we can still see and talk to them through a window with a baby monitor, or the staff will help us set up a Zoom call. Thanks to all the staff for helping us stay connected with our loved ones.

"Avoid Brookdale Assisted Living: Neglect, Theft, and Retaliation Allegations"
My friend stays at this place. Someone took her sweaters, and nothing happened. They don't follow strict food rules. She gets food at night that makes her sick. I called the nurse, but she said my friend was lying. The nurse should've asked the night staff instead of calling my friend a liar. My friend said they retaliate if she complains. They didn't blend her food because I called about it. Now they're suing her for a mistake they made. Her son can't visit because of quarantine. Another patient warned me not to complain about theft. I don't recommend this place. Also, there's a lawsuit against them for billing issues.

"Friendly staff, clean, good care, needs more staff"
We moved my in-laws with dementia to Brookdale Kerrville a few months ago. They’ve adjusted well with their two dogs. The staff is friendly, and the facility is clean. They have daily activities. It’s not a big place, and sometimes it seems they need more staff, but overall, we’re pleased. They seem to care about their residents.

"Great care and kindness make this a recommended community"
This community has really helped me feel at ease knowing my mother is well cared for. They are doing a great job meeting her needs. The staff is amazing and really good at what they do. They keep the place clean and nice. They are treating her with kindness, and I’m happy with everything they’ve done for us. I would definitely recommend this community it’s a nice place.

"Good place, but not the right fit."
I took a tour of the community and thought it was a great place. They answered all our questions. I also know others who live here and they like it. But for some reason, I just didn't feel it was right for my loved one.
