"Comfortable and caring assisted living; staff is excellent."
My dad stays there and feels really comfortable. We like the people who work there, and we have a good relationship with the staff and medical technicians.

"Assisted Living Facility Tour: Average Experience, Potential for Improvement"
The tour was okay, nothing really special happened that day. We just picked it because it's close to our family. It looked like they could use some updates or a good cleaning in the common areas.

"Brookdale Needs Overall Improvement"
Our family didn't enjoy our time at Brookdale. The meals and dining service need improvement, as well as the staff and housekeeping.

"Impressed by tour guide, but facility cleanliness was lacking"
I was really impressed with the sales lady on the tour. This place was my second choice. My husband was not impressed with how clean or well-kept the facility was.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Promises"
This place said they'd do stuff, but they didn't. Medical advice was ignored. Wouldn't suggest it to others. They hide things well and don't keep promises.

"Cozy Community with Helpful Staff, Private Rooms Despite Advertising"
This place is smaller and the building is old, but it feels friendly and cozy. The person we talked to was really nice and gave us good advice. However, the cost wasn't what we expected from the information we were given. We were told they had semi-private rooms available, but when we visited, they only had private rooms.

"Decent Tour Experience with Welcoming Staff, But Overcrowding Issue"
I visited this place and it was pretty good. The people working there were polite and able to answer everything I asked. The rooms were not too big. There were many folks just sitting and needing assistance.

"Safe and cozy home for seniors with dementia, friendly staff."
This place feels like a big family. Rooms are small, though. It costs a lot for the space you get. But if your loved one has dementia, it's safe. Doors are always locked, so someone has to let people in or out, which keeps them safe. The staff is nice, and I learned a lot on my tour.

"Found a Friendly Place but Chose Better Fit Elsewhere"
When I was looking for a good place for my mom, I found Brookdale Lewisville. The tour was nice, the guide was friendly and answered all my questions. It was a good tour experience, but I found another community that suited my mom's needs a bit better.

"Mom is Thriving and Happy in Her New Home!"
My mom really enjoys her new home and hasn't had any problems since moving in. It's a great place for her to socialize, and everyone there has been so friendly. She’s taking part in activities almost every day, which I find very impressive. I feel at ease knowing she's in a good place and would definitely recommend it to others.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Experience"
This assisted living place was nice and cozy. The staff really cared about the residents. But my Mom thought it felt too much like a nursing home, so we'll explore independent living options.

"Nice place with caring staff, but needs more care options"
My father had a good experience here, but he needs more care than they can give. Overall, it’s a nice place. The staff is kind and caring. I would recommend this community to my family and friends.

"Not the Right Fit for Memory Care"
The community we visited was nice and there was nothing bad about it. However, I was looking for a place specifically for Memory Care. Since this wasn’t one, I decided it wasn’t the right fit.

"Not Quite Homey"
During my visit to Brookdale, I thought it felt more like a nursing home. The rooms were tiny, and the tour guide was friendly, but overall, it wasn't a great experience.

"Caring Staff Helped Our Family Through a Tough Time"
Our mother-in-law moved into Brookdale Lewisville even though she didn’t want to. She was really mad at us for doing this. The staff at Brookdale has been very understanding and caring, which has helped us a lot since this has been really hard for us. They have also been great with her, and now she is starting to join the community and get used to being there. It’s because of the Brookdale staff that she is doing so well. Thank you to the staff, whose names I don’t know yet, for helping her and us get through this tough time.

"Doubts about Brookdale Lewisville and A Place For Mom"
My mom and dad have been at Brookdale Lewisville for nearly a month. We've had a hard time trying to fix problems with their care and the bills, and we're still working on it. We're doing our best to make this a good place for them. I'm shocked that A Place for Mom suggested this spot. Now, I'm not sure if I can trust their other recommendations.

"They're doing a great job."
They're doing a great job. They respond quickly to any issues. I've eaten there, and the food is good. Mom loves the desserts. I have no complaints and would give them a high rating.

"Exceptional Care with Engaging Activities and Supportive Staff"
No matter when you visit or call, the staff is always helpful and understanding. They never pass you off to someone else or ignore your concerns. When I had worries, the head nurse spent half an hour with me, addressing everything. The staff is caring and skilled in handling dementia patients. They offer activities like BINGO, exercises, musical performances, church services, and a balloon toss. I see these activities almost every day. I wish my mother joined in more. I even saw Wii bowling and wanted to join! They’re taking her back after rehab, though they might not admit her as a new resident. They do a great job encouraging her to bathe and care for herself, unlike other places.

We’re really happy with how they’re taking care of Mom! The place looks nice and has a warm, friendly vibe. The staff are super friendly and encourage the residents to join in on activities. They also do a great job with communication, giving me updates on how Mom is doing and keeping me informed about any situations.

"Nice Facility, Missing Memory Care"
This place is really nice, but it doesn't have a memory care section. The owner is amazing. My worry about this spot is that my mom might be alone in her room.

"Costlier Than Expected"
Assisted living places were quite alike, but this one felt less valuable. My mom got less space, and everything else was pretty similar. Going from a spacious 4-bedroom home to a tiny 300-square-foot one was tough.

"Great value and homey atmosphere; mom is happy and independent"
They’re very friendly here. My mom only needs her pills daily, and she enjoys doing the exercises. We think it’s a good value for her. It’s been her second month, so it’s still new. The place feels more like a home than a nursing home, which was important to us. She can stay independent, make new friends, and she’s happy, even with her dementia.

"Decent Facility, but Mom's Care Needs and Distance Might be Issues"
It's a decent spot. 42 folks are living here. They all appear more self-reliant than my mother. I'm not completely confident that they can manage my mother's needs, even though the boss insists they can. It's farther away than we'd prefer.
