"Mom adjusted quickly and stays busy at Brookdale"

Brookdale talks a lot with families and really cares about the residents. The activities director makes sure everyone stays busy. Mom got used to her new place quickly.

"Mixed Feelings: Brookdale Maltsberger Assisted Living Review"

Brookdale Maltsberger has been fixing up for months, which made the place less clean. Some small cleaning issues pop up sometimes. The care services are basic but okay, and the staff is mostly nice. Meals aren't great because of renovations, sometimes folks must eat in their rooms. They use plastic silverware for every meal, which we don't like because it creates a lot of waste. Activities are okay, but not as good as before due to renovations and COVID rules. Moving here was better for our loved one's care and budget. They offer both single and shared rooms for couples.

This was a nice place, but it was smaller and farther away than we wanted for our loved one.

"Nice, Quiet Community with Cozy Atmosphere and Outdoor Space"

This was a nice, small community in a quiet area. No freeway noise. With its size, my mom could come and go easily without feeling overwhelmed. It's small enough to know everyone, both staff and residents. The place was clean, cozy, and had a nice enclosed outdoor patio and garden. Great for family gatherings outside.

"Great tour and staff, but traffic is a problem"

The tour my loved one and I took at this community was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and gave my mother and me lots of useful information about their facility. The only downside was the terrible traffic around the property, making it hard for me to visit every day.

"Great care, friendly staff; minor billing and food issues."

My only issue is that billing isn’t done locally, but that’s small compared to the care my mother gets. The staff is really friendly and quick to respond. They address any issues right away and keep me updated. My mom doesn’t love the food, but that’s a minor issue. Overall, I’m very happy with the care my mother receives!

"Clean, friendly facility—considered but chose another Brookdale community."

I visited this place while searching for care for a loved one. The facility was clean and well-kept, and the staff were friendly and professional. We chose another Brookdale community, but this one was definitely a strong option.

"Courtyard Needs Upgrades"

The courtyard needs improvement—it's full of weeds and mud. A beautiful space with fountains and flowers would be much better. Adding artificial grass for an exercise area would help too.
