"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
I visited this community and it was okay. It seemed a bit more worn down than we thought it would be. The bathrooms could use some fixing up with new tile and paint. The rooms were smaller than other places we considered, even though they cost the same. It was neat and everyone was nice. It's not a bad place, but it wasn't exactly what we were hoping to find.

"Good care, but not full-service for all needs"
My mom lives here now, and things are good. However, we had to move my dad out because they couldn’t provide the full care he needed. The staff is pretty quick to respond to any questions and are very friendly. The food is okay with many options, but the quality seems to have gone down a bit since my parents moved in. They offer activities like exercise classes, movies, and shopping trips. For the care my mom has received, I would recommend this place.

I really liked it. Thanks for all the assistance. Deciding is tough because she keeps changing her mind. I’ll reach out when we decide.

"Tour Went Well, Nice Community"
I toured this community with my father, and it went well overall. The place was clean, and everything looked nice. The woman who was supposed to give me the tour was busy, so the administrator stepped in. He was informative, and all my questions were answered. The experience was pleasant.

"Warm Welcome, Need More Memory Care"
The visit me and my loved one had at this place was great. The staff was super friendly and took their time to answer all our questions. I think everything they offer is really nice, but they don't have enough memory care for my dad.

"I Took A Tour!"
The Brookdale Medi Park West community was really nice and had a lot to offer. The tour guide was super attentive and answered all my questions. The only downside was that every service came with an extra cost – even administering medications for my loved one. But the bedrooms were nice, and I liked their setup. They also had meal plans for residents.

"Expectations Exceeded!"
I wanted a place with lots of activities, and this one definitely delivered. They had bingo, brain fitness, and stretching classes. The tour guide was friendly and showed me everything, from the bedrooms to the dining room. Overall, it felt well-organized.

"Decent Living Facility for Mom"
My mom really likes living there. Her apartment is big and bright. They put in laminate floors because her little dog often pees indoors. The food is okay but kind of boring, and it's too salty and not very healthy. I'm not sure if they offer special meal plans for different diets. She hasn't participated in any activities, so I don't know much about those. But she's been on the van for trips to Walmart and for doctor appointments, which is helpful.

"Mixed feelings about Benton House assisted living facility"
The food at Benton House is great! They make fresh, homemade meals. But, when the summer college helpers left, the place wasn't as clean. The activity director is good for those without memory issues. I visited the laundry room and was shocked by how dirty it was.

"Hurry and Take Our Money!"
My husband and I thought they hurried my dad into signing up. He had to sign a contract before the month ended to get 'the good deal.' But he ended up paying for half a month when he wasn't even in the facility. I believe they should have adjusted the rent until he could move in.

"No Complaints"
This community is nice, clean, and good. My mom stays here and she's doing well and happy. The staff are helpful and care for her. Mom has a room with weekly cleaning. The food wasn't great at first, but now she likes it. They invite her to activities throughout the day. Overall, it's been a positive experience, and I've already recommended it to someone who now lives here too!

"More low vision activities needed during the day."
I think there should be more activities for residents with low vision during the day. After 3:00 PM, it seems like it's mostly just card games and puzzles.

"Awesome Assisted Living!"
They were really helpful and supportive. My mom likes it here, and the move was easy. It’s tough when you’re worried about your aging parents, but I feel relieved knowing she’s in a safe place. They answered all my questions, and I’d definitely recommend them!

"Brookdale Medi Park West not meeting expectations"
The people in charge at Brookdale Medi Park West aren't very approachable. It's different from what we originally signed up for. The place had new owners when Mom moved in. Mom stays independently and we were promised they would assist her - but that's not been the case. Although, she does find the activities enjoyable. Food used to be a highlight here, but not anymore - many residents have complained about this. It appears that the staff prefers family to keep distance to help Mom adjust, however, they're not doing a great job at it. Mom wasn't allowed to bring her cherished bird feeder while other residents were. The staff doesn't seem to be around when we need them. I get the feeling that they've taken our money and are no longer bothering to care about our needs!

"Mixed Experience"
We've had a bit of a mixed experience with Brookdale Medi Park West. The place looks nice and clean, and the staff is friendly. However, it doesn't quite meet our expectations for care. We talked to them, and they've been helpful in adjusting our loved one's care.

"Not Ideal for Us"
My mom stayed at Emeritus at Canyonview Estates briefly. Unfortunately, they couldn't provide the care she needed. It seemed like they promised good care but didn't deliver when she moved in. There were misunderstandings, and they didn't give her a tour. Overall, it's a nice community but not right for us.

"We're really happy."
We're really happy. We visited for short-term care, and soon we'll be moving in permanently. The food is great. However, they don't cater to special diets in independent living. Everything is very clean when we come and go, and the people are friendly.

"Started Out Well, But Declined After Ownership Changes"
We were here for a few years, and this community changed hands a few times. In the beginning there were more services, and the staff was friendlier. In the end, things started to go downhill. The food wasn’t very good—not bad, but not fresh either. It was hard to find an open washer or dryer when it was time to do laundry.” Rewritten Review (8th grade level): “We stayed here a while, and the community switched owners a few times. At first, there were more services, and the staff was nicer. But later, things got worse. The food wasn’t great—not terrible, but not fresh. Finding an available washer or dryer for laundry was tough.
