"Brookdale staff cared for my parents during challenges."
My parents were in different parts of the facility. Despite challenges like Covid and storms, Brookdale stayed in touch and kept them safe. The staff made me feel welcome and cared for my parents.

"Overall impression."
Unexpected expenses, dusty stairs, decent activities, average food. Dad approves.

"Mixed Experience at Brookdale Northwest Hills"
I visited Brookdale Northwest Hills. The person helping me didn't know everything, and the place was a bit farther from my home. Also, there was a monthly cost difference of about $$.

"Disappointing Experience at Brookdale Northwest Hills Assisted Living"
My family member stayed at Brookdale Northwest Hills until we found another place for her. All they offered was a shared room, which wasn't great. The nurses were nice, but sharing space was hard for her. Also, it costs a lot and doesn't have as much to offer as other places.

"Mixed Impressions at Assisted Living Community"
I didn't think the community tour was great. The place needs a lot of remodeling, maybe even just a fresh coat of paint. The staff was nice, but it wasn't the right fit for my mom.

"Staff Nice, Facility Overdue For Renovations"
I didn't really like my visit to this place. It's pretty clear that they need to fix up the place a lot. Even just a new paint job would make the place look better. The people working there were kind and nice. But still, it wasn't the right place for my mom and what she needs.

"Great experience, quick fixes, good location, minor issues resolved."
My mother is having a great experience here. We had a few problems, like no place for a hand towel and some missing items, but the staff quickly fixed everything. The location works well for us. Overall, we’re having a fine experience.

"Helpful Staff and Good Location"
My mom is having a good time here overall. We've had a few problems, like not having a place for a hand towel and some things going missing for a bit, but the staff quickly took care of these issues. The location works well for us too. Overall, things are going pretty well.

"Beautiful facility, but unsure if it's right for mom yet"
The place is beautiful. I’m not sure if it’s the right time for my mother to move into an Assisted Living facility. It might just be a matter of naming or labels for her. Even though there are independent living options available here.

"Beautiful Assisted Living Facility with Some Independence"
This place is so pretty! I'm not entirely sure about starting with an Assisted Living facility it might just be a 'name' thing for my mom. But even though there are independent residents here, it's a beautiful facility.

"Warm and Welcoming Community!"
The Brookdale Northwest Hills community is really nice and reasonably priced. Although we ultimately picked another place due to cost, the staff were super friendly and helpful. Residents were also very warm and welcoming.

"Great Choice for Mom, with Friendly Staff and Good Food"
I think this place is a great choice for my mom and I’d recommend it. She’s doing well, though she’s still getting used to the community. I’m hoping she’ll join in some activities once she feels more at ease. The inside and the outside areas are very well kept. I had a meal with her, and she loves the food. The nursing staff are kind and always available when needed.

"The best place we visited, clean and friendly community"
My grandma and I checked out every place in town, and Brookdale Northwest Hills was by far the best. It’s clear that the place has been recently updated. The staff is super friendly and attentive. My grandma enjoys all the activities they offer. I would suggest this place to anyone. The facility is really nice and always clean. Everyone there is very kind and welcoming. We are very happy with it.

"Neglected and mishandled: steer clear of this facility!"
My buddy's mom was at this place. The sales lady really buttered her up and tricked her into a bad deal. Once she was in, her health got really bad fast. She got a constant UTI, which messed her up pretty bad. She started seeing things that weren't there and was hurting all the time. She couldn't do normal stuff anymore and even fell from her bed four times. It's a miracle she didn't break a hip. They shipped her off to a rehab place without telling my friend. They never checked up on her or cared about how she was doing. They even lost track of her once. The workers at the facility don't help and won't even answer questions. I wouldn't tell anyone to put their loved one in this place. It's like all they care about is getting their money!

"Mixed Experience at Summit: Caring Staff, Unexpected Costs"
We had some problems getting enough help for my family member. Also, they charged us $2,000 more than they said. But the staff is friendly, and the place is clean. Generally, I'm happy with what they offer here.

"Nice Living Center, But Beware Of High And Dubious Charges"
The assisted living center looks really great. The workers who directly care for the residents are very kind, and they genuinely care. Sadly, all the people I dealt with in management, from the very first salesperson, to the people handling the bills, to the bosses, didn't seem to be genuine. It's like they saw the living center as a big "money-making machine", where every room was another opportunity to make money that they needed to squeeze for all they could. Their fake "compassion and care" was so obvious, it would've been funny if it hadn't been my mom who was living there. If you choose this living center, make sure you keep a close eye on your money; check their monthly bill closely, and be ready to ask them to explain and clear up EVERY single charge.

"Our Top Pick for Assisted Living"
I think this is our first choice. We just need to check the costs for care options and the two room choices they have available.

"Dreadful meals and service lead to low rating"
My rating is low due to the awful food served three times daily. Additionally, the service is just as bad — it takes forever to be served or the food is practically tossed at you.

"Mom Not Suited, But Nice Place; Staff Available"
I went to this place. The staff is there for the residents, but it didn't work out for my mom. It's a really nice place, though.

"Happy with the facility; food could use some improvement"
We haven't been here very long yet, so I'm hesitant to give a perfect score. But we've been very happy with them so far. I think the food could be a little better. Overall, things are going well.

"Top Choice for Seniors"
I visited this place in June 2013 and loved it! The outdoor seating area in the back was fantastic. My parents, who spend a lot of time on their front porch, would adore this spot if they couldn't be at home. Plus, the age-in-place feature was a big plus. Among all the facilities I checked out, this one is my top choice!

"Excellent Care and Friendly Atmosphere at The Summit"
I was searching for an assisted living place for my mom, as she can’t make these decisions on her own. The Summit turned out to be an amazing choice! Everyone at The Summit is super friendly. I’ve never seen anyone in a bad mood or looking stressed. It’s clear they hire the best people to work here. When I first spoke with Jennifer Slayton, she was really warm and helpful. She answered all my questions without rushing me and explained everything clearly. I’m not worried about any surprises with my mom’s care or the monthly costs, which is great! Jennifer has been so supportive and feels like part of the family now. At The Summit, you can adjust the care you receive based on your needs. It can be pricey if you need a lot of care, but that’s because more resources are used. I think it’s better than a one-size-fits-all approach. Everyone has different needs, so choosing the exact care you want makes it more personal. My mom has been living at The Summit for about two weeks and is really happy. She’s comfortable, enjoying herself, and starting to connect with others. I feel much better knowing she’s safe and content. I would highly recommend The Summit to anyone. When I tell people where my mom lives, they always say, Oh, it’s such a nice place They truly deserve their great reputation.

"Summit Assisted Living: Convenient Option with Friendly Staff"
The Summit at Northwest Hills was our best choice for my loved one because of its location and cost. We looked at other places nearby, but they were either too pricey or didn't have any openings when we needed them. Most of the staff at the Summit are nice, though I can only speak for the ones my family met.
