"Affordable option with Medicaid acceptance, though other choices considered"
Chose this place since they take Medicaid, which means if he runs out of money, he can still apply to stay. I might have looked at other places, though.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"
The staff is awesome, and my family member likes the food. The location is beautiful, but the accommodations are just okay, considering the cost.

"Great Place for Families with Pets"
Brookdale is a very nice place. We chose it because my sister has two dogs, and they allow pets. We also liked that it's close to our family. The holiday meals were excellent, and we really appreciated the food. The caregivers were okay, but there weren't enough of them, so they were understaffed. The office staff went above and beyond to help my sister with her dogs. I would recommend this community to other families.

""Assisted Living Facility Neglects Care and Overcharges Families""
My mom was given a rough time at this assisted living facility. She didn't get her prescribed medicine and they moved her into the Dementia area against our wishes, plus they lost or stole her stuff. They misplaced her TV remote, unplugged her pacemaker monitor without reason, and didn't give her air conditioning. They misplaced her clothes and her medication, and they've got the nerve to ask for extra payments. For what exactly? I voiced my discontent, but so far, as of 11-13-18, they haven't reached out to make things right, instead they've just forwarded everything to a collection agency. I sincerely hope "A Place for Mom" never suggests this place to anyone, particularly with their awful Facebook reviews.

"Assisted Living Food Needs Improvement"
Looking for a place for my in-laws was urgent. Brookdale staff helped. But, after 7 months, the food disappoints. Residents need a voice in menu choices.

"Staff and Service Need Improvement"
We weren't very happy with some of the workers here. The food menu needs big fixes. We've asked them to tidy up her room because the workers didn't do what we asked. The workers aren't always nice. They should be more helpful. We wouldn't suggest this place to other families. The workers need to do better.
