"“Staffing and Food Issues at Brayden Park”"
My family member lives at Brayden Park Assisted Living and Memory Care. The main issue here is the staff shortage and frequent staff changes. The food is decent, but it gets cold before everyone finishes eating. Housekeeping isn’t consistent. Given the current situation, I wouldn’t recommend Brayden Park to others.

"Assisted Living Delivers Impressive Care and Comfort for Residents"
I'm really impressed so far. The staff is super caring and friendly, which stands out to me the most. They pick activities that are fun and also help with things like hand-eye coordination. The place is really nice, and they're really accommodating.

"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living Facility"
Our family visited the facility in person and everyone we met was really nice. However, there were some issues that wouldn't work for us. The apartment they showed us for our loved one was like a studio apartment, and instead of a kitchenette, it only had a microwave. We wanted her to have a small stove and oven so she could cook in her room if she didn't feel like going to the dining room.

"Satisfying Assisted Living Choice"
"They've been really helpful and made things easy for us. I like this place a lot, and I think it's perfect for our loved one. The facility is nice, cozy, and has large, open spaces. It looks great. They have activities happening all the time."

"Great care and friendly interactions."
Be cautious with the contract details. The care my loved one receives is wonderful, especially the interactions with other residents.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Could Improve Communication and Information Sharing"
This place was okay. I wanted to talk to someone, but couldn't. The person who showed me around didn't seem to know much without checking. They also didn't give me any papers to take home and look over.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
We had to hire more caregivers for our loved ones because the support at the facility isn't fast or specific enough. When they press the button for help, it takes too long for someone to arrive. The place is short on staff, so they can't give enough attention. Sometimes they communicate with families, but other times they don't let us know anything. We have to bring extra food and money for deliveries, and some meals aren't good. Our loved ones have a nice two-bedroom unit that doesn't look like a hospital, which is good.

"Friendly and Caring Staff at Brayden Park"
My mom has been at Brayden Park for about 3 years. What stands out most is that anyone who works there will help with whatever you need. They don’t think it’s not their job, whether it’s finding a screwdriver, helping with the satellite TV, or getting toilet tissue! Anyone will bring you a glass of tea, always with a smile. It’s a very friendly place. Brayden Park says they are a home for your loved ones, and they really treat them that way. The management is great. My mom has dementia and sometimes complains when she’s feeling down, but she always tells me how nice the employees are to her. That means a lot. I don’t worry about her.

"A Clean and Friendly Community"
When we went to check it out, the place looked really neat and tidy. The folks we talked to were friendly, and they seem to have some cool stuff like transportation. It's a bit bigger than what we wanted, though.

"Staff are good, but food and service need improvement."
The people who work here are nice, but my parents don't like the food. Sometimes they run out of things. They have activities every day. But the service isn't as great as they say. It seems like they care more about money than the people who live there. They need fewer managers and more people to take care of residents.

"Mixed feelings about staff, clean community, recommendable daily activities."
Some staff are nice, others not so much. They have stuff to do every day. The place is clean and kept up well. Food is alright. I’d say it’s worth checking out.

"Everything is going really well at Brookdale South San Angelo"
Everything is going really well at Brookdale South San Angelo. The staff have great attitudes and are very friendly. They offer lots of activities, even though my dad doesn’t join in. I don’t have anything bad to say about this place.

"Discontent Over Expensive Billing and Refund Policy"
My family member transitioned there from a nursing home. She stayed only five days before returning to the hospital. The facility was genuinely lovely, and the staff was pleasant. If our stay was longer, perhaps our experience might have been more positive. I compensated for half a month in May and then was obligated to settle for June, despite her being physically present for merely the final five days of May. They've not returned my funds for the time she wasn't on the premises. I reluctantly parted with $4200 for just five days. Despite the homelike ambiance and friendly folk, the expenditure was exorbitant.

"Calm Mom, Good Food, Some Insurance Issues, Great Doctor"
"My mom's much calmer here. It's all Alzheimer's, so she's cleaner. Food's okay. She enjoys the little garden. Had insurance issues, not sure if it's them or insurance. Mom's tough to engage, but got a letter saying she joined activities. Dr. Chitwood is amazing!

"Not Worth the Price"
It seemed nice, but you didn't get enough for your money. It cost more, and there wasn't as much space or provided services.
