"Dad Feels at Home at Brookdale Assisted Living"
The staff at Brookdale is really nice and caring. Dad is making friends with other people who live there. His apartment is exactly what he likes and needs. He chose this place because it feels like home to him, not too fancy like a hotel. We're pleased with Brookdale, and Dad doesn't want to leave. He's said that a few times. It turned out to be a good match for us.

"Residents Enjoy Activities Despite Communication Challenges"
My family member with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's enjoys staying here. The staff communication needs improvement, and issues take a while to get fixed. They offer fun activities like bingo, music, painting, flower arranging, and store trips to keep residents busy.

"Roomy, but Food Needs Work"
We picked Brookdale Western Hills because it gives good value for the money. The rooms are a decent size at this place. The food could be better though. It's hard for him to chew sometimes because the food is too tough, and they always put gravy on everything.

"Pleasantly Surprised with Assisted Living Facility"
I was really surprised by how nice it was. The place had a good atmosphere, with spaces where people could hang out together. The rooms were okay, not too bad. The person I talked to, [Name removed], was friendly and told me everything I needed to know. It looks like most of the important services are included in the basic cost, and they have good options for 24-hour care in case Grandma has trouble sleeping at night.

"Aging Facility with Plain Decor and Limited Privacy"
This place looks old and dull. The carpet is brown, the walls are beige, and the rooms are tiny. Plus, there's no door for the bedroom.

"Limited Space, Friendly People"
The independent living area didn't have a step-down option. The assisted living area was far away across town. It's a small community, and they keep the front door locked. The people I met were friendly, and the apartments were reasonably well-organized. The only exit is into the well-maintained interior courtyard, though it's small.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Community"
We visited this place. The rooms felt cramped, like a studio. The property didn't meet our expectations. The staff were friendly and answered our care-related questions. Unfortunately, smoking was allowed around the community, which I disliked. Overall, I'd suggest families consider this community for their loved ones' care.

"Assisted Living Frustrations"
They say one thing, but do another. Even after their supervisor told them, they're still not doing things right. The food situation doesn't match what they tell me. And it's been two weeks without laundry services.
