"Great care and convenient location"

We are really happy with this place. My mom is treated very well. It’s close to my home and work. I would recommend it, and we think it’s one of the best values around.

"Neglect and Chaos at Assisted Living"

The staff here is super unfriendly and rude. They’re always glued to their phones and never pick up when you call. And don’t even get me started on the Director – they never bother returning calls. Plus, I found medication at the bottom of an empty Boost bottle, and good luck finding a worker to ask about it.

"Looking for a Homier Feel"

We visited The Reserve at Katy. The place was big and felt more like a hospital. We wanted somewhere that felt more like home.”

"Declining Satisfaction at Assisted Living Facility"

My family member isn't happy here. They often complain about the nighttime workers and the food isn't as good as before. They noticed many staff members who were here last October aren't here anymore.

"Warm Community, Needs Better Integration for New Residents"

The staff at the community is really friendly and makes sure my loved one feels included in activities. They want to attend Sunday worship services. The Bible class wasn't happening for a while, but I think it's back on track now. It would be helpful to have a clearer plan for welcoming new residents. They should improve how they help people make friends.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"

We felt misled about care levels for our loved one. Daily care was risky due to low staffing. I wouldn't recommend this community. Caregivers are kind but understaffed. Administration is poor; they overpromise due to lack of staff. Communication inside is bad. Caregivers don't respect admin; admin doesn't respect caregivers. No working vehicle for resident appointments. Activities director tries, but residents sometimes don't understand. Quality of care should be prioritized over quantity of residents. Wait times for assistance were too long, over 30 minutes.

"Assisted Living Falls Short on Staffing and Activities"

The place where older folks with memory problems live lacks enough workers and fun stuff to do. Many workers just stare at their phones, and they change jobs a lot. They hardly ever wash clothes. Plus, there was an outbreak of scabies.

"Old Facility Needs Updates, Not Bright & Cheery"

We went to check out The Reserve at Katy, and honestly, we weren't too happy. The place seemed old and kind of rundown. It wasn't the cozy, bright spot we were hoping for. We wanted something newer and happier, but this wasn't it.

"Mixed Experience at The Reserve at Katy"

I visited The Reserve at Katy, and it was decent. The staff were friendly, but the room setup wasn't to my liking. The building seemed a bit old. Ultimately, we opted for a newer community.

"Avoid for loved ones. Scabies outbreak, inadequate staffing. Director unaware."

Don't ever put someone you love there. We're moving our loved one out on Saturday. After just a month, there was a scabies outbreak in memory care. Within a week, my mom caught it from the caregivers. When I visited, a caregiver said she was the only one there for 17 residents. She didn't know if anyone else was coming to help. I texted the director, who didn't know anything until I told her.

"Loved One Needed More Care"

This community was nice, but our loved one needed memory care. We didn't know this, and she required more personalized attention. The community itself was fine; she just needed extra help.

"Terrible Experience with Uncaring Assisted Living Facility"

My husband was there for only 2 days. They were clueless about his death, my kids had to discover it. They billed us [price removed] for mere 2 days because they charged him for the upcoming month. Our attempts to get a refund or a price cut were in vain as they said it had to be divided with A Place for Mom. It was truly a terrible experience.

"Assisted Living Facility Fell Short of Expectations"

This place wasn't as nice as the others we saw. It was our last choice because it didn't feel right for our family member.
