Courtyards at Lake Granbury

"Great Staff, But Food and Cleanliness Need Improvement"
We really like the staff. Everyone has been so nice to our mom and our family. But we have two problems: the cleanliness and the food. They serve cheap, unhealthy food like hot dogs, corn dogs, spaghetti, and pork and beans all the time, which isn’t good for seniors. Our loved one has been there for several months, so it doesn’t seem like a temporary problem.

"Lacking Memory Care, Not Recommended for Loved Ones."
My mom stayed in the Memory Care Unit. I don't think the Courtyards was ready or cared enough to give the best memory care. I wouldn't suggest the Courtyards to anyone, especially those needing MC. The Director didn't seem willing to fix problems.

"Hit or Miss Assisted Living: Welcoming but Lackluster Dining Experience"
My mom was treated kindly at the courtyards, but she didn't really like it there. The food could be better.

"Inconsistent Care at This Community"
I wouldn't recommend this place. Some staff are nice, but others are hardly around. My husband stayed there for a month, and I never saw the nurse. He developed sores, and it seemed like he didn't receive proper care.

"Friendly Staff and Affordable, But Food Needs Improvement"
They don’t have physical therapy on site, but you can hire home health to come in. She doesn’t like the food much; they serve a lot of soups and salads, and she’s always hungry. The staff are really friendly. The place is affordable, so if you’re on a budget, it might work for you.
