Covenant Place of Burleson

"Great place, but the food needs improvement"
My loved one lives at Morada Burleson, and overall, it’s been good. The staff, housekeeping, and office workers are nice. The only issue is the chef. The food is terrible. My loved one wants to order takeout like before. Besides the food, my mom is happy with Morada Burleson.”

"Great Staff and Care, But Busy Location"
The staff at Morada Burleson were great during our tour. They can give Mom the medical care she needs because the place is small, which is a big plus. The building looked a bit old, and I didn’t like that it’s on a busy street.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Improvement Amid Staffing Challenges"
When our family member moved in, the place was changing a lot. This caused problems with staff, turnover, and communication. Sometimes if you asked one person a question, you'd get one answer, but asking someone else would get you a different one. They don't have enough staff, so the rooms aren't cleaned well. Some caregivers are great, but others aren't. They show activities on a sheet, but only bingo happens. The food isn't good—small portions and poor quality. If they fix staffing, things will get better."

"Clean and tasty, with good food options available"
The cleanliness of the place really impressed us. I’ve shared some meals with my loved one, and the food is about a four out of five. If you don’t like something, they have other options.

"Caring staff and decent food, close to home"
This place is very caring. The staff really seem to like the residents. We were pretty happy with it. We picked this community because it was close to my house and it was the only one I found that could switch to Medicaid if needed. The food was okay, and my mom seemed to like it. I would recommend this place to other families.

Disappointed
"Avoid this Nightmare: Worst Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
This place is awful! I wouldn't wish my worst enemy in this place. We thought it was going to be amazing but it turned into a three-week nightmare real quick. Please take this review to heart. You spend so much cash for all the services they provide but all you really get is three meals a day. And that's it! When you try to address these issues to the director, they say they'll take care of it and ask for a bit of patience but nothing changes. Two weeks later and things are just as bad as before. It's rare to find an employee who genuinely cares about the residents or is bothered about the terrible issues going on. It's truly heartbreaking. My family and I have witnessed and heard about countless incidents. This place can't possibly last long with everything going downhill as it has. Some of the staff are friendly to your face then gossip about you behind your back as soon as you leave. I don't understand why they act so immaturely. This was the worst decision my family ever made. Don't end up like us! There's so much more I could say, but I’ll stop here in the hope that my warning does the trick. If you're searching for a high-quality facility, this is definitely not it.

"Mom Loves Her New Home"
My mom is doing great at this community. I chose it because it's close to where I live and work. It's a nice place, and she loves it there. It's clean, and her room is well-kept. It feels like home to her, and she enjoys the meals. She has fun with bingo, dominoes, crafts, and there are many people who come to sing for the residents.

"Great Care and Friendly Staff at a Well-Established Facility"
Covent Place has been a part of the local community for a long time. While it might not be the newest place around, that's actually one of its strengths. The property is well maintained, and the staff are always friendly and ready to help, no matter the time of day or night. I strongly recommend this facility for anyone looking for a home for their loved one.

"Visited Covenant Place, Found Pricier, Older Facility"
We visited Covenant Place while exploring elderly living arrangements for a family member. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't as pleasant as some of its local competitors. The building was a bit aged and the cost was steep.

"Review: Insufficient Care and Bad Design at Assisted Living Facility"
The tour was okay, but the room design was just awful. This is supposed to be assisted living, but their plan doesn't offer enough help. You'd need to bring in a lot of outside assistance. Additionally, they really bleed you dry with all their small charges. It won't be making it to our list of potential places.

"Underwhelmed by Assisted Living Center, Despite Lower Cost"
There were no rides to Fort Worth doctors, which might require an additional fee. It was a bit more pricey. I wasn't a fan of the rooms' layout or the floor plan. Though it was less expensive than Hugley's monthly price, my mom and I weren't really impressed with it.

"Assisted Living Facility Only; No Memory Care Offered"
I visited this place during a tour. It seemed nice, but they only provided assisted living. We realized we needed memory care, which they didn't offer. Since I didn't want to move again, we had to scratch it off our list. Still, it was a pleasant place.

"Happy and Satisfied with Cleanliness and Activities"
My loved one is really happy here. The place is very clean, and the staff seems to make them feel good. It is pricey, but everything is these days. It’s close to our home. The food is tasty, and since our loved one is quite independent, we don’t need to use many of the care services. They have activities like bingo, walks, and church.
