"Great Community Close to Home"

Morada Cedar Hill is close to home, which we really like. Based on our experience so far, we would recommend this community to other families looking for a place for their loved ones.

"Needs Improvement: Assisted Living Facility Tour Experience"

My family recently toured the memory care unit for our loved one. The entrance had dirty spots on the carpet. The doors to memory care were filthy, and the keypad entry was dirty too. Inside, the floor was sticky, making our shoes click with each step like we were walking in honey. Staff sat behind the desk, and residents were watching TV on couches.

"Assisted Living Facility Fails Elderly, Ignores Assault"

My dad was hit, they didn't care, and evicted him.

"Poor Medication Management"

They won’t keep emergency meds for hospice folks. My mom went without pain relief for a whole eight hours, even though I kept calling them. Then they expected me to fetch the meds from a pharmacy. For dinner, they served her cheese on a burger bun and cereal. And guess what? They always ran out of the menu meals. They claim to have a med tech around 24/7, but after 10 pm, there’s never one.

"Friendly staff, clean, needs better medication communication."

My loved one lives at Morada Cedar Hill Assisted Living and Memory Care. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The housekeeping is good. The facility always smells nice, and they collect the trash daily. Communication with the family is good, but they could do better at telling us when medication refills are needed. The meals are good quality. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

"Promising façade, lacking substance; pricey warehouse care, beware!"

They say all the right things, show off nice pictures, and seem really friendly but when no one's watching, things aren't so great. If you want to pay a lot for just okay care for your family member, this place might seem perfect. But if you actually care about what happens when the cameras aren't rolling, you should probably look somewhere else!

"Too Packed and Unfriendly Workers"

My family member felt way too squeezed into this place. The workers weren't half as welcoming as we expected.

"Warm Welcome and Respectful Care in a Clean Facility"

The place is very clean and nice! The staff listens to any concerns you have about your loved one and treats them with respect. When you walk in, you’re greeted warmly, making your visit great.

"Good tour, distant location."

Our family toured the place in person, and it was a great experience. It seemed like a top choice, but unfortunately, it was too far from our family.

"Good Tour but Not Homey or Active Enough"

Our tour of Morada Cedar Hill was good, and the staff were professional. The facility was big, but it felt more like a business than a home. We didn't like that many residents stayed in their rooms, so it was quiet with not much activity. We wanted a more active community for our loved one.

"Friendly Community with Clean Facilities and Helpful Residents"

The assisted living facility is pricey, but it's a nice community. The layout is good and it's always clean. It's easy to make friends, and the people who live here are kind and ready to assist whenever you need it.

"Good staff but food and activities need improvement"

I think you should look into this place for your family member. The food doesn't seem to be a hit with the residents, and it could use some improvement. There also don't seem to be many activities going on. It would be nice if there were more social events in the dining room now and then. Overall, I really like the staff. They are friendly, helpful, and always available to talk.

"Family in Search of Better Assisted Living Facility"

Seeking a superior facility due to cold, inedible meals and persistent medication errors. My family member often finds the food unappetizing, always served cold, and overdone. They consistently mix up her medication regimen, and when we address this with the management, all we receive are hollow excuses instead of solutions. I strongly discourage anyone from considering this facility.

"Top-Notch Assisted Living with Memory Care and Convenient Amenities"

This place costs a lot, but it's worth it. They have a special area for people with memory issues. They also do your laundry for you, which is nice. Plus, they bring in a physical therapist and a dentist for visits. Overall, it's a good place to be if you need some extra help.

"A Caring Place That Feels Like Home for Loved Ones"

My 93-year-old mother found purpose, comfort, and friends at Crescent Place. My husband and I visited at least three times a week, and we never saw her unhappy or neglected. Crescent Place became her home, and the people there became her extended family. The atmosphere is always lively and friendly, with lots of activities for residents to enjoy. Mom loved the daily games and the weekly visits from local pastors and musicians. The facility was clean, and Mom's room was large, bright, and cheerful. The nurses and director were so kind and loved my mother. They even took pictures of activities I couldn't attend and made sure I saw them. When my son got married, one of the receptionists took the sweetest picture of Mom. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is. In her last days, Mom was able to pass away in her own room at Crescent Place, surrounded by family. We were given so much support, kindness, and hugs. This facility, the director, nurses, and staff will always be a huge part of my heart. I still visit Mom's friends and feel loved every time I walk through the door. I highly recommend Crescent Place to anyone looking for quality, loving care that feels like home.

"**"Top-Rated Assisted Living with Great Amenities!"**"

The facility is great, with well-kept spaces, good food, and lots of activities. The residents are friendly, and there's a nice movie theater. The staff is helpful, and they provide a monthly calendar.

"Care and Value"

We really like this community. The staff is amazing, and they always keep us informed about any changes. The place is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. They offer a good variety of healthy meals, and there are activities for residents who want to participate. We highly recommend this community for its caring approach and great value for other families seeking care.

This place is really pleasant. My visit went great. All the people were super nice and welcoming. Overall, pretty decent visit.

"Great decision for mom's care!"

My mother has been adjusting well since moving to Crescent Place. The staff seems very nice and helpful. The place is really clean. The meals are okay, though sometimes what’s on the menu isn’t what they serve. Besides that, the community is doing a good job taking care of my mom, and we’re all happy with them.

"Toured Crescent Place, It Was Okay!"

We kinda liked Crescent Place. The workers there gave us a bunch of info and handled all our questions. They gave us a tour of the building and let us see the rooms. It was a pretty cool place, but it just wasn't what we were looking for right now.

"GREAT PLACE"

They've got awesome staff. They work really hard, even though they're quite busy. I need to stay on top of things. Overall, it's a great place, and my dad enjoys it. He's super comfortable there.

"Unimpressive Menu and False Advertising at Crescent Place"

Crescent Place's food doesn't meet elder needs. It's overly salty, causing my loved one's ankles to puff up. This isn't nice for folks with high blood pressure. They dish up too many servings of red meat and pork, but not enough chicken or fish. On the rare occasion they do serve chicken or fish, it's typically fried! The meat is a challenge to both chew and to cut. The weekly menu from Crescent Place rarely matches the meals they actually serve. It almost feels as if these menus are constructed to make us believe the residents receive better care than is actually given.

"Crescent Place gets thumbs down, caused health crisis"

We had an awful time at Crescent Place. My family member had a terrible health scare when they were fed something they were highly allergic to. When it was all done, the people there acted like they wanted to fight instead of saying sorry about what happened. I thought that the people in charge didn't talk or help much. I wouldn't say someone should go there; we moved my family member away from there.

"Wonderful Experience!"

We’ve had a great experience with them. No complaints at all. Five out of five!

"Everything is going as expected, so far so good"

I think it's going pretty well. So far so good. No big complaints right now. It's nice because they just redid the place with some repainting and stuff. The food is good. I think it's working out well.

"Mixed Experience, Overall Satisfactory"

My family member stayed at Crescent Place briefly. They weren't quite ready for assisted living yet, but I believe the staff did well. The place is clean, and the staff is nice and acts professionally. We did have one false alarm with an ambulance, but generally, it was good.

"Just Okay Living Facility Lacks Good Food and Activities"

This spot is only okay. The location sounds good and could be really great. They should have more stuff to do, and the meals aren't that awesome.

"New owners addressing concerns, staff attentive, food needs improvement."

My dad stays at Crescent Place. They recently got new owners, and I'm feeling hopeful about it. I've talked to them about some problems, and they seem to be fixing them quickly. One issue was the food. It took a long time to get served, and the portions were too small. Other residents have also complained about this. When I eat with my dad sometimes, the food is just okay. But the staff is really nice to the residents, and I haven't seen any neglect. I'm optimistic about the new owners and believe they'll work on the issues. I have to mention, the residents are friendly and welcoming.

"Friendly Staff and Convenient Location Shine at This Assisted Living Facility"

I really like how the staff at this assisted living place are friendly and caring. They take their time to help everyone, especially during dinner. They've been great with my loved one's medication and doctor changes. Plus, the location is convenient for my family.

"Great Place for a Loved One"

We checked out a few places, but Crescent Point seemed the best for our loved one. It’s really a great place. It’s not too big or too small, just the right size. I was really impressed with how quiet and peaceful it is—another place we saw was super noisy. There are lots of spots for residents to hang out, both inside and outside, and everything is clean and nicely decorated. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The food looks good overall, with a nice variety, though I noticed a lack of fresh fruits. Still, it’s been the best choice so far.

"Caring Staff and New Director Keep Crescent Point Comfortable"

We've mostly had a good time at Crescent Point! We were a bit worried when some staff changed right after we brought our family member here, but the new boss seems nice, and everyone who works here is friendly. They're still fixing a few things, but mostly everything is okay. One thing they could improve is cleaning the individual rooms more regularly. My family member's room has been dirty when I visited.

"Feels like home at Crescent Place."

Our family is very happy with the care Daddy gets at Crescent Place. This was our first time with assisted living, and Crescent Place made it easy. Everyone, from the front desk to the caregivers, cleaning staff, and maintenance, goes out of their way to meet all Daddy's needs. We now have peace of mind knowing Daddy is cared for 24/7. Our family can now spend quality time with Daddy instead of being his caregivers. There's no place like home, but Crescent Place comes close!

"Great place, but the food…"

Great place, but the food needs more variety.

"Beautiful but Too Costly and Far for Us"

The place is really nice and beautiful. We would have liked to have my husband there, but it was even pricier than the $4300 we were already paying. Plus, it was further away from me.

"Facility Needs Better Security for Wandering Elderly Residents"

I really liked this place a lot. But I don't think it's the best fit for my step-dad. He's not quite ready for full memory care, but he might start wandering off. The doors here aren't locked during the day.

"Institutional vibe, secure but lacking meal personalization"

Feels a bit like a hospital. It had really long corridoors, and a safe environment, but didn't convince me that Mom would get meals she likes.
