Took a tour, saw lots of residents, not enough staff. Building looks okay outside, needs fixing inside. Food wasn't good. Area is nice if you like that.

"Great staff but needed private caregiver"
The staff has been amazing. They're kind, helpful, and quick to respond. We also had to hire a private caregiver for our family's needs.

The place was clean and felt like home. I liked that they work with 3 different hospitals. The staff interacted with the residents, showing how they'd care for my aunt.

"Great Care, Some Costs"
Elan Corpus Christi has a really wonderful and caring staff. My loved ones stayed in memory care. One thing to think about is that they're rated as assisted living, so as my parents' health declined, some things became difficult to manage. We called in hospice for both of them, which helped a lot. However, they don't offer one-on-one care, so if your parent needs that level of help, it's an extra cost. Overall, our experience here was very good.

"Caring staff, good activities, praised meal options at facility"
We found the staff very caring and dedicated to making everyone feel at home. Our loved one didn’t join in the activities, but it looked like there were plenty to choose from. Although we didn’t eat there ourselves, our loved one always talked about how great the meal options were.

"Lacking Care and Activities: Not Recommended for Families"
This place is clean like a hotel, but staff don't treat residents' medical needs seriously. My father-in-law was in memory care, and they wanted constant one-on-one supervision for him. There were too many staff changes, so there weren't enough activities for residents. I wouldn't suggest this community to other families.

"High Praise for Comfortable Assisted Living with Minor Concerns"
This place is really clean and doesn't feel like a hospital. The food is amazing, and my mother in-law has even put on weight since moving here. We picked this community because it's clean, has a good atmosphere, and the staff are friendly. However, the staff turnover is high, especially tough for residents in memory care. I'm unsure if they're assisting with her showers, and she had a bruise on her shin that needed antibiotics. Still, I would recommend this community to other families. I've been to many others, and for the price, your loved one is in good hands. My mother-in-law loves it here.
