The new Director and Events Coordinator are awesome! They plan events almost every day. But the director in charge of the staff giving medication needs more training in patience and compassion.

"Frequent Staff Changes, Limited Activities for Men"
The staff and cooks change often. There aren’t many activities for men. My dad gets daily home health visits, which is great for him.

The community is a nice place. There are a few issues with the care and caregivers, but most of these are fixed quickly. Overall, it’s a good place. The food looks good, but sometimes it arrives cold.

"Great care, homey atmosphere, outstanding community."
They were really great. Both my parents stayed there for over three years and were happy. Having assisted living and memory care allowed them to be together every day. The caregivers were excellent. The food started out great but got worse over time. My suggestion is to focus on home-cooked comfort meals. They made nice friends, and it was close to my house. We found this place outstanding.

"Elk Creek is nice but rooms are small for two"
We liked visiting Elk Creek. Most things were good. The residents looked happy and active. However, the private rooms seemed pretty small, especially for two people. That’s my main worry. We got brochures and activity schedules. Elk Creek is definitely worth thinking about.

"Had to Leave due to Rising Costs"
I lived in this place for roughly a month. The team was nice and accommodating. The surroundings were clean and the building was new. Moreover, the food was also good. Sadly, it was simply too pricey and they were increasing the rent once more. So, I had to look somewhere else.

"Too Large and Lacking Atmosphere"
The folks working here did a solid job showing us the facility, really taking time to show us everything and answer our questions. It was all neat and tidy. The neighborhood and apartments seemed good and spacious. But, it seemed overly massive and the vibe didn't quite suit my mom.

"Friendly and Helpful Community"
The community is awesome, and we're really happy here. My mom is doing great. She gets excellent care, and the staff is super helpful. They can help with anything. Everyone is friendly and talks to you when you come in, even if they don't know you.

"Great Activities and Clean, Friendly Community!"
We are really happy with this place. They have lots of fun activities. For example, on Valentine’s Day, they painted candy jars. They also have cosmetology students come in to give manicures and a lady from the library who reads to everyone. There are many games and events too. I’ve eaten here a few times, and the food is great. The only issue my mom has is that she sometimes gets green beans, which she doesn’t like. I visit every day at different times, and the place is always clean. If something gets dropped or needs cleaning, the staff is quick to take care of it. We picked this place because it’s designed like a campus, letting residents move around to different sections and join in various activities.

"Clean and welcoming facility with excellent amenities."
This place was really nice and had cool stuff for everyone living there. The rooms were super clean, and you could see they really take care of the place. It was one of my favorites when I was checking out different places, but the hospice people thought it would be better for my mom to go somewhere they know well.

We really like living here. The staff is super friendly. The food could be a bit better. We have fun with the activities. It's great that they keep everything clean and tidy. We think other families should consider living here because of the care and value they provide.

"Great Care and Friendly Staff"
This place is beautiful and new, and the inside looks amazing. They have a lot of staff, but not many residents yet. I'm glad I was referred here. My brother loves playing bingo and enjoys the pet therapy with dogs and rabbits. Residents can have pets, and some have dogs and cats. Even with the pets, it smells clean because the staff keeps it tidy. The staff ladies are friendly and helpful. I ate here once, and the food was excellent, though my brother thinks the portions are too small. He can get seconds after everyone is served. It's a great place, and everything is fine for my brother. Recently, he fell while making his bed and didn't know how it happened. When he pressed the button for help, the staff came right away. They helped him up and checked him out.
