"Windermere Estates: Great staff, friendly atmosphere, and compatible roommates!"
When we first checked out places, Windermere Estates stood out way more than others. It was much better than our second choice! It didn’t feel like an old folks' home. Most of the staff are really caring and friendly. I was very pleased. He was also paired with a very compatible roommate. Great job!

"Broken Promises at Assisted Living Facility"
I think they promised us something they didn’t deliver. The person who sold us on this place said they’d keep our loved one active, but that’s not happening. They don’t invite her to activities, and key staff members have quit. I talked to corporate about my concerns, so let’s see if things improve with new staff.

"Assisted Living Falls Short for Dad"
My dad stayed at the assisted living facility briefly. Although I respected the administrator, the services for my dad fell short of my expectations, including the food. My dad felt miserable, so I relocated him within 10 days. Since he left, the facility has changed ownership, hopefully for the better.

They seemed friendly and willing to help. Unfortunately, my husband passed away within a week of his arrival. Despite my requests for a refund, they not only ignored me but also had the nerve to send me a bill for the next month.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Don't bring your loved one here. When I talked to the staff, they said they would handle things one way, but they weren't very professional. They didn't communicate well when I needed help with my loved one's needs. Then, they sent me a bill after my loved one passed away. I'm still waiting for them to respond and give me a refund.

"Lack of Weekend Support and Medical Care in Assisted Living"
My relative needed more medical help. This place was too independent for them. It's not the right fit for everyone. I don't think they have enough staff here. The weekday communication team isn't enough. And the weekend staff doesn't know how to do virtual calls. It feels inadequate.

"Caring Staff and Activities Shine, Some Food Improvements Needed"
The facility is doing a great job taking care of our loved one. The staff members are wonderful and we really like them. The director and the home office communicate well with us. They keep us informed with newsletters about COVID. Our loved one isn't very happy with the food, especially the tough meats that are hard for her to eat. But she enjoys the activities, especially bingo and morning exercise classes.

"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living Facility"
Overall, it's been okay, but we have concerns about meals. My loved one's doctor suggested a special diet, but the community struggles to provide it. The care is acceptable, but we need to keep a close eye on things. They're supposed to monitor medical needs, but we're unsure if it's happening. More nursing staff and bath aides are needed. The bath aides seem rushed and understaffed. We like this community but hope for improvements.
