"Clean, Friendly Assisted Living with Value"
They don't push her to do things she doesn't want to do, but I'm glad it's a very clean place. Sometimes they pop in to say hello, which is nice. My sister might be the reason, but they don't bathe her often. She won't pick up her tray, so they charge $5 for delivered meals. I set up a microwave in her room with meals for her to prepare, and I asked them to deliver only one meal a day. Unfortunately, my sister refuses all activities. Still, the value is worth the cost.

"Excellent Assisted Living Facility with Caring Staff and Comfortable Amenities"
This assisted living facility is really good. The staff is great and they pay excellent attention to the patients and residents. They have thoughtful programs for everyone to enjoy. The rooms are comfortable and everything is well organized and designed. There's a nice courtyard where you can walk around, and the rooms and dining hall are quiet and restful. Overall, it's a really nice place to be.

"Friendly, affordable, and close to home"
The size of the place felt just right. I met some really friendly and caring people there. The price was very affordable. It's only 10 minutes away from me, so I can check on things often. I'd recommend it, but if you use memory care, make sure to visit often.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
When we moved in, things were okay. We had someone to watch over Dad. The staff was good in But then, employees left. Even though they said it was okay, they kept taking money from my account. Dad started in Assisted Living but had to switch to Memory Care. Assisted Living was fine at first until we found Dad trying to leave by himself. Once we moved to Memory Care, things got worse with lots of staff changes. It was hard to know who to talk to because they kept leaving or changing jobs. I wouldn't go back there. If they had hired people who knew what they were doing, maybe it would've been better. Things might be different now, but this is how it was when we were there from.

"Watch Out for Rising Rent Costs at This Assisted Living"
Be careful about how much money they're asking for. They're making our mom pay $600 more starting in January 2023. Last year, they made her pay $300 more. It looks like ever since started running things, they keep making the rent higher every year. Just be careful.

"A Caring Place with Friendly Staff and Great Food"
Before moving in, residents should know they need to be patient and not expect immediate assistance for every little thing. Overall, it’s a good place with very friendly staff and a clean facility. They’ve had some staffing issues lately, but the caring and respectful staff make up for it. The food is great, and there are plenty of activities. Just a small wish: more reminders to join in.” .

Good morning! I just wanted to thank you for all your help with getting Mom into Elmcroft. From the moment we arrived, the staff was so warm and welcoming. I’ve never been so amazed as I have been this past week seeing such a change in my mom! She is so happy, and I haven’t seen her this way in years! Please pass my heartfelt thanks to everyone at Elmcroft. You are all making a huge difference and are a wonderful blessing to our family.

"Great Tour and Impressive Facilities Thanks for Showing Us Around!"
Sorry it took me a while to reach out. I wanted to say thank you for showing me around and explaining everything your facility offers. I especially liked your dining area and how residents can choose and order what they like. It’s a pity my sister didn’t know about your place. I was really impressed after reading your brochures. You offer a lot for your residents, with plenty to keep them active and engaged. When I’m ready to move to Assisted Living, I’ll definitely reach out to you again! Thanks again for the wonderful tour!

"Disappointed: Tour Delayed, Apartments Expensive, and Unpleasant Smell Present"
I was really let down that nobody was ready for our planned meeting and to give me a look around. Finally, the nurse on post had to show me around and tell me about this place. Compared to other places I've seen, it wasn't as clean and had a weird smell. Mostly, they have small apartments and larger ones with a bit more room to sit. They also have two-bedroom apartments which are nice but cost a lot of money.

My family member got excellent care at Elmcroft. The staff and administration are wonderful! They’re always ready to help, even if it’s not their job. My mom moved to another city to be close to other family, but if she moves back to Conroe, I would definitely bring her back to Elmcroft.

"Manager is kind and goes the extra mile"
I loved the manager here; she was so nice. When I came for my tour, she wasn't there because she was late. She went out to get a milkshake for a resident who didn't like the one the facility served. I knew if she did that for a resident, she would do that for my mom. The facility was okay, but it didn't smell great. It kind of smelled like urine. I would recommend this place to other families.

"Fairly Unimpressed with My Tour of the Facility"
When I went looking for a place for my dad, I took a tour here and it didn't wow me. The place is old and when you walk out of the rooms, it feels like you're stepping out into a hospital corridor instead of a homey living space. The place was clean, I'll give them that, but the hallways were really skinny and the rooms were too dim. The shared living space was not big enough and I just can't see someone getting to participate in a bunch of activities there. The place is pretty compact and it's clear it's been around for quite some time. I also noticed the dining area was tinier than I'd like, tucked just off the main hall. Overall, the vibe I got was a little gloomy. It was a bit too claustrophobic for me and didn't feel inviting.

"I thought my Mom would hate me!"
At first, I didn’t know how my mom would react when I suggested Assisted Living. I was scared she would hate me and think I was just putting her somewhere! She was in rehab after a fall, and I had to find her a new place since she couldn’t live alone anymore. The ladies who showed me around were super nice and explained everything step by step. They kept telling me that Mom wouldn’t hate me but would love me more for doing what’s best for her. Sure enough, Mom loved the place and everyone there! She has been so positive and only says nice things about the people who live and work at Elmcroft. I am very grateful!

"Mom is Happier Than Ever!"
I live near Splendora, TX, and there aren't any senior places nearby, so we looked in the Conroe area for my Mom. Out of all the places we visited, one really stood out as the most caring and genuine. From the salesperson who first talked to us and helped a lot, to the nurse who did my Mom's assessment, to the Chef who made a special meal just for her. They were all wonderful and caring people. The first couple of weeks were tough and took some getting used to, but now it's smooth sailing, and my Mom LOVES it! I've never seen her this happy!

"Best Decision for My Parents and Me"
My parents didn’t want to leave their home of over 50 years and move into an assisted living community. But I needed to regain my sanity! They lived next door, but I spent more time with them than my own family. It took about 2-4 weeks to adjust, and nearly four weeks later, they started calling Elmcroft “HOME”! It was a tough change for all of us, but they’re settling in, and I can finally breathe!

My friend and I knew right away after visiting Elmcroft Senior Living last December that it was the perfect place for Mom. Even after checking out other places, we were sure this was the best. The vibe was just right, and we both felt confident Mom would love it there. Looking back, we were absolutely right. Mom felt like she had a new family. I can't thank the staff enough for their care and kindness. Many thanks again, and I look forward to seeing you all in the future. Every time I drive past the Gladstell exit, I think of you all, Elmcroft, and my Mom. May she rest in peace.

"Detailed Tour, Limited Parking: Elmcroft Assisted Living Review"
Had a great tour with a staff! He spent a lot of time with us, asking about my dad's needs and then showing us around Elmcroft. The private rooms were a good size, but because the Memory Care wing is getting more residents, they won't be available for assisted living residents. Instead, they'll offer a Vitality Suite with a shared bathroom and living area. The bedroom area was small, probably only big enough for a full-size bed, but it was comfortable. It was nice to have a living area to use however we wanted. Kirk and the staff all seemed capable and caring about the residents. The only downside was that there wasn't much guest parking available.
