"Inconsistent care experience."
My review changed due to staff turnover and quality decline.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Community"
The place is tidy, and my family member enjoys some activities. We chose it because it seemed promising to them. The staff responds well. However, they lack food options for those needing a diabetic diet. Transportation for residents would be a nice addition.

"Chaos at Cedar Crest"
Cedar Crest felt chaotic. It was tough to accomplish anything, and staff turnover was high. I stayed because of my own health issues.

"Staff Changes and Food Quality Impact Assisted Living"
We chose this community because of its location and pricing. However, after the director and other staff left, the place changed. Mom initially enjoyed the food, but when they hired a new cook, it wasn't good anymore. The high turnover rate after COVID in 2021 was also a concern.

"Lacks Caring Atmosphere for Mom's Needs"
I didn't really like the feeling there. It didn't feel welcoming to me. It seemed like they cared more about getting me to sign up than about taking good care of my mom.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
The facility is good if the person is at the right care level. However, they don't assist with changing or feeding in the afternoon, and they don't motivate enough for the person to leave their room.

"Solid Assisted Living Choice with Room for Improvement"
In April-May 2021, my mom and I visited a few places. We picked Cedar Crest because of the services, nice property, and friendly staff. We met residents who showed us their rooms and talked about the food and service. But, we didn't know some top staff were leaving and a new boss was coming in June 2021 when we signed up. Maybe it wouldn't have changed our minds, but now we get why they rushed us before raising the rent. The new director is great and hired more staff to give better service. They have a few openings, but they do a good job helping residents and families. If you're looking at assisted living or memory care, I think you should check out Cedar Crest.

"Mixed Feelings on Assisted Living Facility"
Our family visited in person. The place is a bit old, but the tour was nice. The entrance was beautiful, but the rooms looked old and a bit boring. However, the staff we met were really nice.

"Avoid This Place: Untruthful Tours and Overworked Staff"
I advise turning tail and sprinting. Deceptive promises happened during the walkthrough and those proved false. We had a terrible ordeal here. The personnel are pleasant but tremendously overworked.

"Assisted Living Facility Improving Communication and Friendliness"
The start was kinda bumpy 'cause they got new bosses, so talking wasn't great. But now, things are getting better. The folks there now answer our questions fast, and they're super nice. They also take care of our needs quickly.

"Assisted Living Facility Faces Staff Changes and Billing Issues"
This place is good. Lots of new staff, all very nice. But, because of this, they've had trouble fixing billing problems. My loved one likes the food.

"Improvements Noted at Assisted Living Facility"
The place has emergency buttons to wear and in the bathroom, but nobody responded when we pressed them. It was really hard to get help for showering and bathing my family member. But, they’ve recently switched out all the top staff. I think things are starting to get better.
