"Inconsistent Care and Management: Assisted Living Review"
Some staff are great, but others don't care or lack training. There aren't enough caregivers, and they're often on their phones. They prefer medicating residents for convenience. Activities are dull, and they hardly interact with residents. Breakfast is repetitive, and meals aren't suited for residents' abilities. I wouldn't eat there. Rooms aren't always secure, and residents wander freely. Management is absent and lacks accountability for workers.

We picked Franklin Park Boerne because it's close to us. The rooms in memory care are a good size and meet our needs. The staff, from the concierge to the nurses, has been excellent. I highly recommend this facility to other families.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Care and Management"
This place looks pretty, and usually, it's clean. But, the assisted living part is okay, while memory care isn't good. They don't have enough staff, and the ones they have aren't trained well. The food isn't good anymore, and many people here have lost weight. People just stay in the dining room or their rooms all day. The management is bad, and there aren't enough staff, so this place that used to be nice isn't so good anymore.

"Mixed feelings: Great for some, lacking for others."
If your loved one doesn't need extra memory care, it's a good place. But if they're in between, not so much. It'd be better if they had a fenced outdoor area for residents. That's why we moved our loved one.

I visited Franklin Park and the place was really great. I enjoyed it a lot and believed it would be perfect for us. But, it cost too much, and I think I can find another place that’s just as great without spending as much.

"Great New Facility, Impressive Tour, but Too Large for Us"
This place was really great and brand new. We only saw one person living there. The tour was good, and they answered all my questions. It was decorated really well, and we were impressed. It was just a bit too big for us.

"Concerns Raised Over Staff Turnover in Assisted Living Community"
We picked this place thinking it had everything our family member would need. Right now, a lot of workers are leaving and replacements aren't constant. There's no one organizing activities, so our family member is often alone with nothing to do. The front desk people are extremely friendly and caring. They made us choose this place, thinking that their attitude would reflect how the rest of the staff would act. The facilities are new and look like a holiday resort. We moved our family member here to be with people in her age group, in a safe, secure place where she could enjoy life. We've spoken to the managers about the high turnover and they're trying to fix it. We hope they sort this out soon.
