"Mixed Experience at Golden Oaks Assisted Living"

We had some problems with how friendly Golden Oaks was. Sometimes the staff were good at taking care of us, but other times they weren't. My family member was really sick in February. When they moved in, they had a hard time with their feelings. I tried to get them help from outside the place. At first, the management talked nicely about our issues, but then they weren't so nice. I wish they communicated better with us. If one manager had a problem, the other did too. The House Manager,, was great. She knew how to take care of everyone and taught me things about my family member. But she's not there anymore. I think they've fixed the staff problems. When COVID started, the owner and their family moved in with their kids. I'm not sure how that worked out because my family member left. There are only six people living here. COVID made things harder for everyone.
