"Poorly Managed Assisted Living Facility"

The staff changes every day, and there's no stability. Housekeeping is bad, and the move-in experience wasn't good. Meals, especially in Memory Care, need improvement. The only exceptions are the Director and Concierge. I wouldn't recommend this facility.

"Staff shortage and Bad Food: Unresolved Problems at Assisted Living"

They are always short on staff. They just can't retain any employees. The food is really bad. The people running the place have no clue what they're doing. When you try to talk to the boss about any worries, he'll say comforting words, but he never actually solves anything.

"Great tour and friendly staff at Heritage Place assisted living"

We visited Heritage Place while looking for an Assisted Living home for our family member. This place was one of our top choices! The environment was amazing, and staff members even came over to introduce themselves. We got a detailed tour and all our questions were answered. They also gave us a monthly Activity Schedule, a brochure, and a guide.

"Amazing Staff at Heritage Place"

The best thing about Heritage Place is the staff. They are super helpful, always checking on my loved one and helping her get where she needs to go. I would recommend Heritage Place to other families.

"Mixed feelings about this assisted living facility."

My family member enjoys the food and stays active. However, watch out for this place. They don't have enough staff and struggle to retain them. It's a bit expensive too. I chose it because it looked nice initially, but things shifted. Also, the rooms aren't very tidy.

"Poor management, unsanitary conditions."

This place is awful! Director's bad, beds dirty, belongings missing.

"Great Place, But Check DNR Requirements"

I think this facility is a nice place. I wouldn’t mind living there myself if I needed to. The only problem we had was when my dad stopped breathing at the facility. We had a DNR for the hospital in his will, but we didn’t know, and they didn’t tell us, that we needed a specific DNR for the assisted living facility. I’ve told my friends that if they’re looking for an assisted living facility and want a DNR, they need a separate form for that, no matter where they go. I really appreciated the facility for how they cared for my dad. I had a good feeling about the place. They were very helpful; anytime I texted a question, I got a quick answer. So, I was surprised when the DNR issue came up because they were very helpful with everything else, like reimbursing us since my dad didn’t stay there long.

"Assisted Living Review: Good Overall, Room for Better Food Variety"

Overall, it was pretty good. The food isn't always great. I wish they would make more home-cooked meals and have Mexican food sometimes.

"Security stands out; dining needs slight improvement."

Our family noticed the strong community security. Overall great, minor dining improvements needed.

"Changing directors; decent with varied room sizes; recommendable."

Community changed directors. Decent place with good room options.

"Feels like a community, spacious rooms, great food"

We picked Heritage Place because it felt more like a community than a nursing home. The rooms were big, and we liked all the space. We ate here often, and my parents always said the food was great. In the short time my parents were here, we thought it was wonderful.

"Disappointing Experience at Heritage Place Assisted Living Facility"

This place looks nice, but don't be fooled. My grandma's been at Heritage Place in Burleson for a while now. There have been so many different directors that I lost count at least 7 or 8, and sometimes no one's in charge on-site. They can't keep anyone in any position for long nurses, chefs, dining room help. I've called with concerns or questions, only to be told there wasn't a nurse onsite. What gives? Most aides, especially on weekends, are caring but understaffed. Wait times for help are ridiculously long. The dining room was always short-staffed with long wait times. The food is consistently awful, like cafeteria food. Often, my grandma makes her own sandwich because the food is bad. I wouldn't go here again. We've tried to convince grandma to move, but she doesn't want the stress. I've complained several times to different managers, but all I get are excuses.

"Avoid Heritage Place: Consistently Poor Service, High Costs, Frustration"

For over a year, my mom lived at Heritage Place in Burleson, and during that time we experienced multiple directors and chefs, as well as numerous sales reps. This high turnover rate of administration staff is a red flag. The food was always awful and because of this, we had to spend around $200 a month on additional food. The staff was excellent, but there weren't enough of them, and management was exceptionally poor. The dining room was frequently understaffed, which made acquiring lunches quite frustrating. They demanded a $1500 non-refundable deposit for any refurbishments once we left. However, they're withholding $200 from our monthly refund for the apartment's clean up, even though we left it spotless. Additionally, they're not compensating us for 4 days' worth of refund that we're entitled to. The management's rules were continually changing, nonsensical and needless. I strongly advise against choosing this place. Additionally, we have family who also live there and are attempting to leave.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"

Although this place looks nice and the staff is very good, the food isn't great. We've been served burnt chicken and raw hamburgers recently. They struggle to retain staff, especially nursing staff. We pay extra for medication management, but they only notify us when we're almost out of medicine. Complaints yield nothing but excuses, and it's always the same old story.
