"Mixed Feelings about Assisted Living Experience"
The food is great, especially the cooking. It's the best I've had compared to other places I've been. The activities here are a bit different from what I'm used to, but I think the Activities Director is trying her best. However, most residents keep to themselves and go to their apartments quickly, so there's not much interaction. The cost is much higher than the care I get. Overall, I don't think this place is suitable for independent people like me. Overall, I'd rate it a five or six out of ten.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Medical Care and Meals"
This place didn't give my parents their medicine right. The people who help with medicine don't know how to check blood pressure well. When my parents asked about the food, they were told they had bacon and tomatoes in the salad, but no other protein or veggies.

"“Assisted Living Improves with Staff Changes”"
This place is alright. It’s improving as they switch out staff, and it’s getting a bit better.

"Billing Issues and Staff Turnover, But Caring Aid Staff"
We've had some problems with the billing. I've paid what they said I hadn't, which has been frustrating. I didn't know they change administration every year. The aides are very kind and care a lot about my mom; they've been great to deal with.

"Hopkins Place: A Mixed Bag for Seniors"
When it started, Hopkins Place was great. It was super clean and didn’t smell like a nursing home. But then they changed directors, and the new one wasn’t very friendly. She only let one family member in at a time, which made moving our loved one in a hassle. Unfortunately, he didn’t stay long enough to see if the staff’s attitude changed. Despite that, Hopkins Place seems nice for those who can get around on their own.

"Excessive point charges for basic services at this facility."
This place uses a points system for services. They add 4 points for giving medicine, tack on one more if you have an inhaler. If they check your blood pressure more than once a month? That's 2 extra points. Need to talk to the doctor? Add another point. I'm not even sure what they charge for their nurse practitioner or physician assistant because they never mentioned it. And if you want to talk to home health, be ready to see 2 more points on your bill. And mind you, this is for a resident who looks after her own hygiene, makes her own bed, gets her own meals from the kitchen, and cleans up after herself. Does that sound like she's a level 2 resident to you?

"Disappointing Assisted Living Experience"
My family had a bad time here. Some workers weren't honest. My relative lost stuff from her room, even during Covid rules. They didn't care about what happened. I only got excuses from top staff after my loved one passed away soon after moving in. It was a total nightmare.

"Amazing care, very happy, highly recommend!"
I have no complaints about how things are going for my wife since she recently moved into this community. The staff is amazing, and I can’t say enough great things about them. I’m really impressed with the care they’re providing for my wife and think they’re doing a great job. Overall, we’re both very happy and would highly recommend it to anyone.

"Amazing care and comfort; Mama feels right at home!"
I can’t say enough good things! Everything has been great so far. The staff and other residents are really friendly and helpful. Even the maintenance guy is super nice. If a light bulb burns out, it’s replaced almost before you’re back in your apartment. And the meals? Really good. It’s so clean that I couldn’t find any dust, even on the ceiling fan! But the best part is that Mama is starting to feel truly at home. That’s what really matters most!

"Great Place, Clean and Friendly, But Needed More Care"
They did a great job here. It was a nice place, and I didn’t have any issues while we were there. The place was clean, and the staff was friendly. We just needed more care than they could offer.

"Good Place, but Needs More Help"
At Hopkins Place, we've had some good times and some not so good ones. The building itself is really nice and always clean. The staff that works here are all pretty cool and they try to take care of all the people living here. The biggest problem, though, is that they don't have enough staff to take care of everyone properly. They're doing their best, and it's getting better, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
