"Assisted living with ups and downs."

The place is tidy, and the staff is nice and useful. But lately, they’ve had a lot of staff changes. The food isn’t amazing—some dishes are too salty, and there aren’t many healthy options.

"Misunderstood Intent, Incomplete Tour"

Our family visited Discovery Village at Dominion in person. It seemed welcoming, but we didn't get a full tour. They thought I was there for a job.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Food, Activities, and Communication"

My family member didn't like the food. It was small, not much variety, and seemed processed. There weren't many activities, they were boring, and my family member hardly went outside. Communication was bad. Managers changed a lot. It felt more like a nursing home than private care. If you're considering it, check how other residents spend their time.

"Costly Assisted Living with Decent, Slightly Small Rooms"

This assisted living place is really big. The rooms for residents are pretty nice, though they’re a bit smaller than others I’ve seen. But the thing is, it costs a lot more compared to other places that are pretty much the same.

"Wonderful staff and facility, very caring and supportive!"

Isle at Watercrest is a beautiful place, and the staff is amazing! They have gone out of their way to help us through the transition. Most importantly, every caregiver we’ve met has been kind, compassionate, gentle, and patient with Mom and Dad.

"Great Service and Friendly Staff"

Everything is going well for my sister and me. We haven’t had any problems. They’ve been very helpful and my sister never says anything bad about the place. Everyone has been really nice to me whenever I visit.

"Assisted Living: Mom's Safe and Happy Haven"

My mom is doing good in this place. I think she's safe and well taken care of. The people who work here are nice and helpful. They keep everything clean. We're happy here.

"Perfect Fit, But Too Expensive"

I really wanted my mom to live close to me in this community, but the price was way too high for us. They were great at showing us around, and it had everything we needed, but we just couldn't afford it.

"Highly Recommend"

As one of the first residents at The Isle of Watercrest at Dominion in their Assisted Living-Extended Care/Memory Care complex, we appreciate the caring staff. Everyone, from the Director to the administrative staff, nurses, assistants, kitchen and dining room workers, janitors, and maintenance team, made Mom and our family or visitors feel welcome. The decor and amenities are exceptional, and our family strongly recommends you visit and consider this new and convenient location. We checked six assisted living communities in the NW San Antonio and Boerne areas. The fees here were similar or even less than other places.

"Great folks to care for your parent."

My mom stayed at Alamo Ranch while we waited for Dominion to open. The staff were sweet and attentive. They helped her after a couple of falls. Dominion has some growing pains, but they genuinely care.
