They were amazing. They took excellent care of my loved one and helped all the kids. The community worked well with hospice. Knight's Assisted Living was kind and gave great care. They were wonderful! The food was good.

My mom is at Spanish Oaks in Pflugerville. We’re happy with the care she receives. Staff is caring, but they mix up clothes.

"Terrible Care at Assisted Living Home Ends in Heartbreak"
I used to have a client and I thought I had placed her in a fantastic facility. But this changed in her final days. I was supposed to receive emergency notifications if anything happened to her, a request placed by her family. But they didn't contact us until she had already passed away. We asked for some time to go through her belongings, but by Sunday evening, less than two days after her death on Saturday, they had already disposed of her belongings. By Monday morning, we found some of her things in a box, many of which were broken. After talking to a nurse, I discovered they had already planned for a new resident to move in that very day. We also found out she had been in decline for a week, and no one thought to let either me or the family know. Apparently, their protocol is to dispose of residents' personal items after they pass away. The owners claim to be Christians, but it seems they are more interested in money. They seem to lack concern for the grieving families and friends. I'm truly upset about how they handled [name removed]'s final days. When I got there after learning of her passing, their hospice nurse was just leaving. I stayed for hours until her body was taken away, which the hospice nurse should have also done. So I wouldn't suggest anyone consider this place based on the way they treat their residents in their final days, it's just terrible.

"Amazing Care Home"
It has been an amazing experience for my mom moving to this care home. My dad, brother, and I are very happy with everything they have done for us. This is a nice, small home. When we visit, everything is always very clean. We know she is in great hands. I would recommend this care home; it has been an amazing experience for my family.

"Grateful for Knights Assisted Living's Caring and Clean Environment"
My sister and I felt lucky when Hope [Removed] came into our lives in January 2013. Our mom had dementia and was getting worse, needing round-the-clock care. We were directed to Knights Assisted Living in Pflugerville, TX. After visiting several places, I knew this was where my mom should be. Each time I visited, I was happy with our choice. The home was always calm and very clean. It was hard to place someone you love in a facility, but it felt right. As my mom's condition worsened, they provided the care she needed. Every time I left, I thanked God for finding Knights Assisted Living.

"Beautiful Home with Attentive Staff and Great Ratio"
Hope and Philip have a wonderful place. The 2:1 staff-to-resident ratio is great. The home is very beautiful and comfortable, and the staff is really attentive. We didn’t choose Knight’s because of our family member’s mental health, not because of Knight’s.

"Exploring Options: Pleasant But Slow-Paced Assisted Living"
We visited this place while exploring our options. It was pleasant, and we had a positive impression. However, it felt a bit too slow for my loved one, who desired more activity.

"Fantastic care and support—highly recommended!"
Hope and her team were amazing with my grandmother. We tried several other places before finding Knight's Assisted Living, and I can say we found them just in time to really improve my grandmother's life. She was treated like family, and so were we when we visited. Thank you so much for taking such great care of her and being there until the end. Words can't describe how wonderful this place is.

"Frustration over Dementia Home in Single-Family Neighborhood"
This old folks' home is in a family neighborhood, ignoring the rules of the homeowner's group. They keep bothering the neighbors by knocking on their doors. It causes so much irritation having a place like this within a neighborhood full of single-family homes. A licensed dementia care home just doesn't belong here. These type of business-type homes should be somewhere else.

"Very happy with friendly, responsive staff and great updates."
I’m really happy with them. The staff is friendly and quick to respond. Whenever I have questions, they always get back to me. They send me photos and keep me updated on how she’s doing, even if everything is fine. I have no complaints and am very pleased.

"Beautiful, clean facility with friendly staff and yummy cookies!"
The facility is calm and welcoming. The atmosphere helps keep everyone relaxed. Drop-in visits are always welcome, and sometimes we even smell cookies baking! The place is always clean. We have great respect for the owner, who always has time for questions and visits. We are very happy to have found such a beautiful place for our 94-year-old aunt.

"Such a Relief to Find This Caring Place!"
My mother has only been at Knight's for a short time, but the owner has been really great about keeping me updated on her condition. They’ve sent pictures and made me feel at ease knowing she’s in a clean and caring environment. I’m really lucky to have found this place through your website because I had been told that personal care homes wouldn’t be able to offer the care my mother needed. I’m incredibly thankful for this place and the amazing staff!

"Unsatisfactory Assisted Living Experience"
I wouldn't suggest this place. They didn't tell us it wasn't licensed. My mom, who has dementia, left twice and they didn't supervise her well. They were nice but didn't watch her closely. Food was good, but activities seemed lacking.

"False Testing and Neglect at Assisted Living Facility"
I wouldn't suggest these facilities to anyone. They weren't straight with me about the fact that the home where my mom stayed wasn't registered and licensed, and they didn't make this information known. When I contacted the aging services department, they had trouble even locating the home. They own two facilities and the one where my mom stayed, in Mallard Pond, isn't licensed. I was told they were about to relocate when I first visited the facilities on Snowflake Dr. But I wasn't notified that the new location they were transferring my mother to wasn't licensed. It was only later that I was made aware of the second facility when a staff member casually mentioned working at the other location. The day to day operations are run by Hope, who works under her father's name. My mom had dementia and frequently tried to wander out due to the facility's lack of proper locks or alarms. She even tried to take her own life once before being admitted and twice after. The staff failed to monitor her adequately and didn't take efficient protective measures after the first suicide attempt. Though the staff appeared caring, it seemed like only one caregiver was present at a time and they were often busy with other residents. A Place For Mom's Mary Lontkowski was a huge help in managing through this situation. Despite the satisfactory food and the staff's assurances of regular activities, my mother reported otherwise and no activities were visibly going on during my visits.

"Great Experience for My Mom"
My mom isn’t there anymore, but it wasn’t because of their services. We had some financial problems while waiting for her veteran’s benefits. The staff and the facility are amazing. I can’t think of any way they could improve. It was a great experience for my mom. They deserve very high marks.
