"Great Location, Admin Staff Excellent, Care Staff Needs Improvement"
Overall, I’m pleased with the facility and the admin staff. My experience with the care staff hasn’t been as good. We chose this place because of the location.

"Workers neglectful, avoid this place."
We chose this place because of where it is and how much it costs. But the workers don’t take responsibility for what they do. They didn’t care about my family member. I wouldn’t suggest this place. I wouldn’t even let my dog stay there. They need more caring staff.

"Inconsistent Management and Finance, Caring Staff"
I want others to know that the staff who help my mom every day are amazing! They truly care about her and know everything she needs. I can talk to them and they give me good information. But, there are problems with the people who manage the place and handle the money. They don't always tell us what's happening, and I find out about things after they already happened. Also, there are mistakes in the bills, and it

"Lacking Care: Disappointing Assisted Living Facility with Multiple Floors"
This place had many floors. We felt let down. The person showing us around didn't seem very caring.

"Caring Staff and Clean Facility Great Value for Pet Lovers"
I think the people here really care. Everyone I've met is nice and helpful. The place is mostly clean, but my loved one's room could be better. The food is pretty good. They have activities for the residents. My loved one enjoys some outings, but not bingo. One thing I really like about Landon Ridge is they allow pets. They even have a fenced-in area for his dog. We got a good rate, so I think we're getting a good deal here.

"Affordable, friendly community with clean apartments and varied food."
The staff is friendly, and my dad's apartment is clean. The food has variety, but some amenities cost extra. I chose this community because it's close to my house and affordable.

"Looks Can Deceive: Care and Services Fall Short at Facility"
This living center seems great and the workers are nice. But, if your family member needs to constantly have their oxygen level checked and helped, this is definitely NOT the place. We picked this center last August because we were promised they could help us with oxygen. But now, after 10 1/2 months, oxygen monitoring has been a BIG issue. It's like a scary roller coaster. The weekends have been super difficult, weekdays are kind of better. Sometimes it's okay for a week or two, but then the same problems come back - our loved one tries to go out for an activity or a meal and runs out of oxygen before getting where they need to go. No one was checking or knew what the oxygen levels were. Our family had to start dropping in just to make sure our loved one had enough oxygen. It's been stressful, frustrating and sometimes we get really angry because the management can't seem to handle it. Also, the clothes they wash come back super wrinkled and not wearable at all. Towels and other things go missing and someone has to look for them. Yes, they do offer choices for meals but, to be honest, the food is kind of awful. We're not asking for a five-star meal, but we do want the hamburger well cooked, the cheese in a grilled cheese sandwich actually melted, and the soup not to taste just like bouillon cubes. Why not use some herbs to make it taste better without messing with anyone’s health? The center has seen a lot of workers leave lately. It really feels like staff needs to be trained better and supervised properly. We know no place is perfect, but it doesn’t feel like asking for accountability is too much, especially when we're talking about services that they promised to offer. After 10 1/2 months, it seems reasonable to expect them to have a good plan to care for the residents. Our experience here has been very disappointing overall.

"Comfortable, Clean, and Friendly Assisted Living Facility"
We were very impressed. Mom was nervous at first, but she seemed to like it. We stopped by, and it was more convenient to home. Our doctor liked Landon Ridge too. The place was very comfortable and welcoming. The staff was friendly, and the facility was super clean! The residents seemed very happy as well.

"Nice tour, friendly staff, allows pets"
I toured this place and it was pretty good. The staff were friendly and helpful, answering all my questions. They allow pets, which is nice. We saw an apartment with a dog, and they said they'd clean it. It seemed expensive at first, but it wasn't too bad in the end. We decided to go somewhere else.

"Amazing Care and Happy Dad at Isle at Watercrest"
I recently moved my dad into this place. The staff are amazing! Everyone is super nice and helpful. I checked out a lot of places, but this one stood out with the care and love I wanted for my dad. He has been so happy since moving in. He’s made friends and even joined their water aerobics classes twice a week! My dad hasn’t been this happy in years! Thank you, Isle at Watercrest, for giving me my dad back!

"Looks Can Be Deceiving at This Assisted Living Community"
My family and I were so enthusiastic when we first visited this assisted living community. It was such a pleasant looking place and the workers seemed really nice. We felt good about having grandma stay here while we were away. However, it turned out to be a terrible experience. The workers did not pay attention to our requests. They never escorted my grandma to her meals like they promised to, and it was only because of her roommate's private helper that she got her meals. We provided new, unopened medication rubs for the nursing staff to apply to my grandma, but when we came back, the tubes were still unopened, proving that they hadn't followed through with our instructions. All the promises that were made about taking care of my grandma were broken. Don't just go by looks - they can trick you.

"A Nice Place for Respite Stay"
Mom had a good respite stay here. The staff were nice. I did think there should be more staff for the number of residents. She liked some of the daily activities. The community is beautiful. She liked the food, and they offer healthy choices. The other residents seemed happy. This community is located in a busy area near a large movie theater.

"Great Community with Friendly Staff and Good Information"
I really liked talking to the friendly staff who took their time to show us around. They answered all my questions and gave me good info. I noticed that the place has both assisted living and memory care, but I was looking for something more focused on memory care.

"Safe and Comfortable, Highly Recommend"
My 93-year-old mom stayed here for two weeks while I was out of town. I felt very safe with her there, and she felt safe and comfortable too. She said the food was great, served restaurant-style with menus and linen tablecloths. Caregivers helped her get to and from meals and activities. They can bring meals to the room for a fee, but they encourage residents to get out and interact with others. There are games and activities offered. My mom lives alone with part-time caregivers, so this was perfect for her. They offer other levels of care for those who need more help. The cost was reasonable compared to other places I checked. Everyone is treated with respect, friendship, and competence. For safety, my mom wore a button around her neck to call for help, and the response was quick!

"Great tour with knowledgeable staff at a clean, happy facility"
I scheduled a tour with Kelly to see their facility. Even though I didn’t need the care right now and was just interested in the space and what they offer, Kelly was very kind and informed. She took a lot of time to show me everything, and I noticed that the facility was clean, the seniors were well-dressed, and everyone was happy and interacting!

"Amazing Facility Where My Mother Thrives and Residents Have a Voice"
I’m really impressed with this place. They’ve helped my mom stay active and involved in lots of activities. They even have a resident council, which I think is great. It’s nice that they listen to the residents’ opinions, not just the staff’s. Overall, I’m very happy with this facility. My mom is doing really well here. I’d definitely recommend it.

"Friendly and Helpful, with Room to Improve"
They are friendly, very smart, and really helpful. They are new, so they have some things to fix, but they are always there to help with those. They just got a new activity director, so they haven't had many activities yet. I really like them. It's very nice and clean, and my mother likes it too.

"Amazing Care and Beautiful Facility for Your Loved Ones"
This place is excellent, and the staff is amazing. The Isle of Watercrest - Alamo Ranch is a new facility with a great staff-to-patient ratio. It’s incredibly clean and feels more like an upscale hotel than an assisted living or memory care unit. Their memory care area is secure, ensuring patients' safety and care. Each room has motion detectors to alert staff if someone has mobility issues. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and there’s even a movie theater upstairs for residents. My mother lives here now, and I highly recommend it.
