"Great activities and care, with minor issues in response time"
We gave this community 4.5 stars because sometimes it takes a while for help to arrive when our loved one pushes the button. There have also been a few medication mix-ups. But they offer a lot of activities for residents who want to join in, and we would recommend this community to others.

"Troubling Care and Misuse of Medication at Assisted Living Facility"
While our family member stayed at the facility, they kept falling out of bed and getting hurt. Once, the staff told us our relative had a minor fall; a week later, we found out that they had been walking around with a broken hand. It felt like there was always something wrong with their medication. We found multiple medication patches on them at times, or sometimes no patches at all. One early morning, we got a call saying our loved one was trying to fight everyone. But according to a psychiatrist, they were just trying to protect themselves. Even if dementia changes people, we know our family member. They're super gentle and have never been in a fight before.

"Caring staff and good services make it worth the cost"
Management at Legacy Crystal Falls has worked hard to keep residents safe during the tough times of COVID. It's been difficult for everyone—management, staff, residents, and their families—but things are looking up. The staff takes good care of the residents, and the atmosphere is friendly. The housekeeping team does a great job keeping the place clean, always with a smile and a polite attitude. Overall, the monthly rent is worth it for the care and services provided.

"Not Enough Care, Food Quality Drops in Rooms"
There’s a new boss at the home. It’s a place that helps with everyday things like getting dressed or taking a bath. But my mom needs extra help, which they can’t give. If your family member needs lots of care, this isn’t the right spot. The meals are alright, and there’s different stuff to eat, but when we had COVID, they brought food to the rooms, and it just wasn’t as good.

"Friendly staff, great food, and comfortable living"
Most of the caregivers are really nice, helpful, and friendly. She loves the food now; there’s a variety, and it’s like eating at a restaurant. She likes her apartment and feels comfortable. She can adjust her own thermostat. We chose this place because it’s close to our family, it’s new, and the health department reviews were good.
