"Helpful Staff, But Memory Care Access Needs Improvement"
The staff at The Legacy at Forest Ridge are really helpful. However, getting in and out of the Memory Care area can be difficult because it’s locked. They should consider using a door code or another system to make it easier for families to visit their loved ones. Also, this place doesn’t provide personal hygiene items like some other facilities do. Housekeeping comes once a week and does a good job, but the laundry sometimes gets mixed up. Overall, I would recommend The Legacy at Forest Ridge if you live nearby.

"Disappointing Experience at Legacy Assisted Living Facility"
My mom went to Legacy in July after a fall. It wasn't our first pick, but they had a room. We waited eagerly for days to see her. But when we did, she looked unkempt, with dirty hair and a big bandage on her arm. Even worse, her clothes were soaked with urine. The bathroom was filthy, with diarrhea all over. We were shocked and horrified. The food was awful, too—greasy, salty, sugary, with barely any fruits or veggies. We had to take turns staying with Mom until we moved her after 28 days. The memory care area was gloomy and had hardly any windows. I think this made the staff sad. Worst of all, no one seemed to be in charge, and it was very disorganized. The nurse, [name removed], was unfriendly and harsh. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. But I want to thank the staffs for trying their best.

"Friendly staff, clean facility, but meals and activities need improvement"
The facility is clean and the staff are friendly and caring. My loved one feels safe and well taken care of. The only problem is that the meals aren't very nutritious or tasty, especially for seniors with health issues. They aren’t as chef-prepared as advertised and need to get better. More variety in activities would be great too.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living: New Facility but Pushy Staff"
I visited this place. It's pretty new and looks nice. The person selling it was a bit pushy, like a car salesman. They don't seem to have enough staff, but that seems common nowadays. They use motion detectors in rooms to know if someone's been in the bathroom a while. That sounds good, but what if there's an emergency? It might take longer for them to respond. I'm not sure how I feel about it. The memory care area seemed small and cramped. I think it's better for assisted living.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living"
Overall, it’s convenient with great staff. My Aunt, who has Dementia, felt safe. However, I was disappointed that the clinical staff didn’t notify me about critical eye drops for her Glaucoma. Also, despite requesting a bath for my Aunt, it wasn’t done. While they cater to clients, my Aunt prefers eating in her room.

"“New Community, Inexperienced Director”"
The community is all shiny and new, but the director’s inexperience was a letdown.

"Unhappy with Assisted Living Facility"
This place was really bad. The lady in charge made the new guy talk to us, even though he just started. He tried to help later, but it didn't make up for our bad time. We didn't meet any residents or other workers.
