"Mixed feelings about Truwood Assisted Living great staff, few activities."
The staff at Truwood is really great. My mom loves some of the caregivers! Like anywhere else, some are good, but some aren't as good as others. There aren't many activities at Truwood, probably because the place isn't very big! There were even fewer activities on the memory care side. Moving into Truwood was easy. First, a nurse came to evaluate Mom, which impressed me. They suggested assisted living, which was cheaper. She stayed there only a month before they said she needed memory care. The cost went way up, and I felt stuck because moving would've been harder for Mom. Other places I looked at had one price for memory care, but Truwood doesn't. I would recommend Truwood because the staff is wonderful, but just know that everything costs a lot.

"Caring Staff Makes a Difference"
The staff at the assisted living facility is amazing, especially the med techs who interact with my parents the most. They're kind, attentive, and caring.

"Mixed Experience at Truewood Assisted Living"
I picked this place because it had good ratings, friendly staff, a room near the dining area, and lots of activities. But my mom isn't as active as I hoped. Another reason I chose Truewood was a special offer on community fees, unlike other places we tried before. I have to remind them to do everything for my mom they're supposed to. Sometimes they forget to do her laundry on laundry day. When I point it out, someone does it right away. They're supposed to make sure she wears her hearing aids every morning, but that doesn't always happen. When I talk to senior leaders about my concerns, they address them right away. I think the food could be better quality.

"Mixed feelings about Truewood Georgetown."
Our visit to True wood Georgetown was okay. I felt it was a bit expensive for what they offer. Also, we didn't see many people in the shared spaces.

"Mixed experience at assisted living facility; room for improvement."
The community offers good value. Improvements needed in communication and housekeeping. They provide laundry and trash services. Three meals daily with choices.

"brackets"
Rewrite this 4 star review of an assisted living facilities retaining the tone and using 8th grade level american English: 'The facility itself was great, we really liked what we saw. We wanted to go here and totally would have but the sales guy that we were speaking with was kind of creepy and just gave us a weird vibe which is why we went with another facility.' then create a headline (in 10 words or less and placed in double ) that summarizes the review .

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Costs"
We really enjoy the friendly people at the assisted living facility. However, we're facing issues with the overall value and cost. They use a point system for additional charges. For instance, laundry is supposedly free, but they deduct 60 points. If you need something extra, that adds 40 points, pushing you into a higher tier and increasing costs.

"Great Care, But Needs More Activities and Better Communication"
I find the lady in charge of the caregivers very responsive. Whenever I bring up an issue, she addresses it right away. However, many caregivers don’t speak good English, making communication hard. I wish they would interact more with my mom and get to know her better. They could also offer more activities since my mom loves playing Scrabble. They promised more than they’ve delivered so far. This is the third facility my mom has been in since October, and I’m much happier with Truewood by Merrill. I would recommend them to others.

"Top Choice but Size Concerns for Walker Users Affected Decision"
I liked this community, but my family chose another one. It was my favorite, and they were very active here. However, it's bigger and two stories, and I worried about how my loved one, who uses a walker, would manage.

"Overall, positive experience."
I liked Truewood by Merrill—it was my second choice. The staff gave a great tour, and the memory care rooms were spacious and affordable. However, having both assisted living and memory care was a downside, and the location was far.

"Great Option, But Cost Was a Factor"
Our family toured this place in person. It was our second choice, but the cost was the deciding factor.
