"Friendly staff and decent food; good location for quick visits"

The staff here are really nice. My mom thinks the food is just okay, but she always eats it because there are a few options to choose from. Sometimes, it takes a while for things to get done since there aren’t many helpers. The rooms are vacuumed, and the bathrooms are kept clean. We chose this place because it’s close to our home, so I can visit quickly if needed.

"Friendly staff but communication with management needs improvement"

The care staff are really friendly and always ready to help. Sometimes, it's been a bit confusing to figure out how to talk to and coordinate with them about changes needed for my mom. I've also noticed there could be some improvements in how the facility management and care staff work together.

"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living Facility"

The place was okay overall, but the folks taking care of memory issues weren’t as great. We chose it 'cause it's nearer to my sister, and she heard good stuff about it. They're doing fine with handling diabetes, but with new staff, there's a lot they're still learning, so it's not as good as it used to be.

"A Great Place for Mom"

We toured this place for my mom's care. The staff were caring and answered our questions. We liked the menu. The place is clean for the residents. We wanted a smaller community. Families should consider this place for care.

"Excellent Care and Comfort with Friendly Staff"

This is a great place for care. We like how the staff is friendly and caring. The rooms are a bit small. The location is off the service road, but there are many stores close by. We enjoy the menu and the trips they take. We would recommend this place for its nice care and comfort for a loved one.

"Worth Exploring!"

This community seemed nice during our tour. The people we met were friendly, and they had plenty of activities. However, the apartment didn't meet our expectations.

"Pleasant Lynridge Lacks Visible Resident Activities"

Lynridge was pretty cool. The vibe was warm and welcoming. The employees know a lot about how to take care of their residents. The place looks great with cool decorations and a nice patio right in the middle. The rooms are big and can fit good furniture. I didn't see residents doing any activities, though. Maybe it was just the time I visited.

My wife is doing really good at Lynnridge. The people who work here are nice and I can talk to them easily. The food is tasty. They have a lot of fun things to do. The whole place is always clean. I think it's a good place and I would tell other people to check it out.

I'm really glad I saved a lot of time and effort. They found exactly what I needed right when I needed it. They listened to what I wanted and helped me find the perfect place for my wife. We were very lucky to be guided to A Place for Mom.

"Communication and response time at facility disappointingly poor"

Staff is friendly at this facility, but they're awful at letting family members know what's going on. They don't tell us if they change the medication for the people who need help remembering things. Trying to get in touch with the boss on the weekends is super annoying. The lady who answers calls doesn't even know who's running things. She has me leave messages at a bunch of numbers hoping one of them is the right person. The place is in charge of making sure our loved ones are safe and healthy. But if no one knows who's in charge, they can't react fast enough when real emergencies happen. Despite the facility being a nice place, we decided to move our loved one because they weren't getting the care they needed.

"Impressed with the friendly staff and homey atmosphere"

I was really impressed with this community. It's well run and well managed. Everything runs smoothly here. I enjoyed my tour of the facility. The manager/director is great—wise, knowledgeable, and helpful. The residents are cheerful, friendly, and seem very happy and comfortable. The community feels very homey. They can provide high levels of care if needed. My tour was great, and I would recommend this community.

"Great community and staff; private spaces with shared areas"

I really liked this community and the staff. I also appreciated the shared floor plan with a common foyer, but each resident has their own private space. I’m hoping to move my mom in next week.

"Suitable for Mom's Assisted Living, But Fully Booked"

This place is okay for mom's assisted living, but they're totally booked.

"Great Place, Clean and Well-Maintained Our Visit Impressed Us"

We visited this place, and it seemed great. We didn’t get to taste the food, as we only looked around. Everything we saw was clean and the building wasn’t very old.

"Quick Descent into Disappointment: Assisted Living Facility Falters"

My mom's been staying in the memory care section of this place. It's really degraded in just a year. There's a nasty smell of pee, and it always feels like there are no staff members available when you need help. The ones that are around struggle with English. Add to that, it's worrisome how often the staff changes and no one seems to be in charge. Right now, I'm searching for a better place for my mom to stay as I now know better. Don't let the nice building and welcoming front office fool you. Things take a turn once they have your payment.

"Amazing place for Dad!"

They've done an awesome job here! From almost day one, we knew this would be the perfect place for my Dad. He really loves it here, and the community feels great. Moving from independent to assisted living was a big change, but the staff works hard to make it feel like home!

"Feels Like Home"

We have visited a few times and have been happy every time. Even though we liked the place and the staff from the start, our recent visits have impressed us even more. We've seen volunteers bring therapy dogs, groups going on outings, happy hour socials, and other activities. My mom says she loves the environment, and I can definitely see why!

"Lost Documents and Small Rooms Despite High Costs"

They misplaced my documents quickly. The place looked good, brand new, with beautiful outdoor courts. However, the rooms are tiny considering the high costs. The activity schedule had a lot of Walmart shopping, which is really close by. I would need to examine the number of actual outings they offer, even though there were a few. The price was certainly high and they didn't offer any discounts or deals.

"Beautiful, cozy, friendly place with knowledgeable staff loved it!"

I loved it! The place is beautiful and cozy. The staff is friendly and knows what they're doing. It’s a bit far away, but it’s not too bad.

"Underwhelmed by the tour and facility"

When I visited this assisted living center to explore care choices for my family member, the experience wasn't great. The place itself seemed okay, with clean and nice-looking common spaces. But something about the place didn't feel right to me. I noticed not many residents were active or busy. The guide who took me around was fresh on the job and couldn't address a lot of my queries. Plus, the room they showcased for me had a harsh smell of urine, which didn't give a good impression.

"Smooth Tour, Poor Transfer Communication"

During the visit, everything looked nice and neat. The staff was super nice and ready to assist. But, when it came to moving from a skilled nursing facility (SNF), the communication was lacking. It felt like both sides weren't on the same page, which was quite annoying.

"Decent place, but visiting could be tough and not Mom's fit."

The place is good. But it could be hard for family to visit. Plus, it didn't seem to suit my Mom well.

"Limited Activity in Common Areas, but Nice Rooms and Amenities"

Not much going on in the common rooms at 2:30 PM on a Sunday. The rooms are nice, but the closets are small. The courtyards, dining room, and entryway are lovely. They provide transportation to doctor appointments within a 10-mile radius. You'll need to do your own laundry in the laundry room. Meals are served three times a day, and if you miss a regular mealtime, you can order a meal. They clean once a week.

"New Facility's Bad Plumbing, Burnt Food Very Disappointing"

We were hugely let down by this facility, despite it being one of the newest ones around, they were already having numerous plumbing issues. No matter how many times we visited, these problems never seemed to get fixed. As for the food, well, it was quite poor, almost like something you'd get in a school cafeteria. I had a fish covered in lemon sauce. The fish was definitely overcooked to the point of being rubbery, and the surplus sauce they tried to cover it with was far too sour. My son had a hot dog that was pretty much inedible, it was so overcooked that it became rubbery. I still can't figure out how they even managed that. The hot dogs didn't even have grill marks, they were just burnt. Most of the food was blackened and lacking in any flavor, except for my fish which was literally swimming in sauce.

"Not Enough Activities for Memory Care Residents"

The place is really tidy and everyone there is really kind, but their staff changes a bunch. They used to have people in charge of events and fun stuff for those with memory issues, but they moved them to just helping out folks in assisted living. Now, there's nothing fun for the memory care people to do. Also, the workers don't pass on what I tell them to the next shift, so I have to keep repeating myself. This part about the events is kind of annoying since we're paying a lot for it to be included. Despite all this, my mom is taken care of in terms of cleanliness and food, which is great. I just wish they could bring some entertainment for the memory care residents, which is frustrating.

"Fine Place, Needs More Staff for Memory Care"

This assisted living home didn't have many activities for folks in the memory care area. It seemed like they didn't have enough workers for the number of people living there. The meals were okay and the workers were nice. The main problem was that the memory care area felt like it needed more staff when our family members were there. I would suggest checking out the place, but make sure you're happy with how many staff members there are for each resident.

"Concerning Safety and Space"

The rooms here are super tiny, just 500 square feet. They're split into three, making them even tinier! My mom's started wandering, and their doors easily open onto a busy street. Hard to believe, but yes, Murphy has a major street!

"Great Food, Lack of Activities: Mixed Experience at Assisted Living"

I haven't seen any fun stuff to do. Every time I visit, Dad's just in his room or bed. They say he's active, but I don't see it. Food's good, though. Dad enjoys it there.
