"Room for Improvement, Overall Satisfied"
I give private care 7 days a week because they don’t always give medicine on time, and the food isn’t good. But overall, I’m okay with it.

"Positive tour experience, family-like atmosphere, but no private bathrooms."
We had a wonderful tour at Mayberry Gardens. It felt more like a group home, very family-oriented. The cost was affordable. However, the main issue for us was the absence of a private bathroom for our family member.

"Too Spread Out and Expensive: Decent Tour but Not Ideal"
Our family visited in person and the tour was nice. However, the community is too spread out with many separate buildings, and it's too expensive for our budget.

"Terrible Management and Poor Conditions at Assisted Living Facility"
My time at this place was pretty bad. The bosses don't act like bosses. They'd show up late, then leave for lunch 20 minutes later and sometimes they don't even come back. They tell you something, but then they do something else. Two people I won't name were really bad at communicating. Also, they didn't behave like professionals and didn't have enough staff. The memory care section was not treated well. Yes, a lot of them are near the end of their life, but that's no reason to make them uncomfortable. When mistakes happen with the medication, they just ignore it instead of fixing the problem. House 3 was run the best, which is pretty bad since House 1 is the main one and it's full of roaches. The two people in charge really need to do a better job. I wouldn't recommend working here. The workers don't get paid enough and have to do extra work. I don't know how this place is still in business. They need to do way better.

"Disappointing Tour Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
I went for a tour of the assisted living facility, but when I arrived, the person there seemed surprised and didn't know I was coming. We walked around a bit, and the place seemed okay, but I wasn't impressed with how unprepared they were.

"Good environment but issues with cleaning and personal care"
Compared to other places, I would recommend this facility. I liked the setup and the environment, and I've heard worse stories elsewhere. The issues we had are things that could be easily fixed. The management was friendly and got along well with the residents. However, there are always some things to keep an eye on. I wasn't very happy with how my loved one's room was cleaned or the personal hygiene care he received. Some of his things, including clothing, went missing. They were supposed to wash his clothes separately but ended up mixing them with other residents' laundry, so some of his items disappeared and others ended up in his room. There was also an issue with Clorox ruining some of his belongings, which was upsetting. One time when I went to change his sheets, there were feces on the mattress pad and mattress. I’m not sure if it’s due to a staffing problem or something else.

"Communication and Organization Need Work"
I believe the people in charge could improve communication and organization. It seems like nobody really knows what's happening.

"Not Ideal for Recovery, Better for Memory Care"
This place is better for memory care residents than for those just trying to recover. It wasn’t a good fit for us. I wouldn’t recommend it to others.
