"Disappointing, Unsafe Conditions at Assisted Living Facility"
The people were kind, but it seemed like there weren't enough workers. One time, they left the building at night to gather at one house, which I didn't think was very safe. The room was always messy. The air conditioning broke down, overheated, and nobody noticed. The meals they served were too small. Once I found him on a mattress with no sheets, shivering from the cold. The floor is very dangerous because there's a raised strip in the hallway that residents must go around. My relative tripped and fell because of it.

"Dreadful Experience with Mustang Creek Assisted Living Facility"
If Mustang Creek is all you can afford, I get it. That's why we had to choose it for our mom. But honestly, it's not been good. We moved her there in November 2022, and by next month she ended up in the hospital, barely breathing. She was on the edge of getting pneumonia! We figured out there are other options, like group homes and hospice, through a senior advisor. Our mom knew the director at Mustang Creek, who promised us they would look after her when she came back from the hospital. That was a bit better. But then, two months later, they let that director go. Now our experience is just awful - the food is so bad that Mom won't eat, the caregivers don't pay attention to her needs, they leave her in the shower chair for too long, causing cuts and bruises, and she's just confined to her wheelchair.

"Cozy Facility with Inconsistent Care"
The staff at MCE is good at giving medications, but they're not consistent with other care tasks like helping residents get up in the morning, attend meals, participate in activities, or maintain hygiene. My mom can do most things independently but needs encouragement. Unfortunately, MCE lacks a nurse and basic first aid skills. Staff turnover is high, but we chose MCE because of its cozy, small building where my mom enjoys meals with fellow residents.

"Mustang Creek Facilities Fail in Basic Care and Communication"
My mom was a prior resident at Mustang Creek Estates Frisco. I would give it no stars if possible. My mom and other families decided to leave this place. They didn't do laundry, the bathroom was constantly dirty, and good caregivers were scarce. The good ones left because of the horrible conditions and long hours. One Sunday, only two staff were present for five houses! They continuously lied about staff and conditions. But, the worst part was when they sent my mom to the hospital without telling me! She had been in the ER for hours before I was even notified by the hospital! The following day, no info was given either. When I brought this up, the director didn't know an ambulance had even been there, let alone that my mom was in the hospital.

"Assisted Living Needs Improvement"
My mom isn't pleased. Lots of residents seem really sick. The food's bad, so she cooks her own often. They're getting a new director soon. I'd say it's best for those with limited abilities.

"Caring Assisted Living at Mustang Creek Estates Frisco"
We had a bumpy start because my family member's care needs changed rapidly, but overall, they've been wonderful to work with. The staff is kind and keeps us informed they truly care about the residents. I wholeheartedly recommend Mustang Creek Estates Frisco to other families.

"Great Tour, But Too Pricey"
Our family took an in-person tour and thought it was a really nice experience. The only reason we didn’t choose this community is because it was just a bit too expensive.

"Not the Best Fit for Social Interaction"
This was our second choice. They don't have a nurse available all the time. During the tour, I didn't see residents socializing, which made me unsure about how well it would suit my loved one.

"Mixed Experience in Unique Assisted Living Community"
I visited this place. It's really nice. The way it's set up is different, but it wasn't the best fit for my loved one. The rooms and living spaces are small, but the common areas are big.

"Facility neglects residents; Owners view them as money-making objects"
My mom or dad has stayed there for a bit now. They've seen many different bosses come and go in a quick time span. The people living there don't always get their meals or pills regularly. Clothes washing takes way too long. The folks who run the place really don't seem to care about the people living there or their families. All they seem to care about is that they get their money every month. To them, you’re just a way to make a buck.

"Mixed Experience: Great Staff, Concerns with Management"
I wouldn't suggest this place for your loved ones. Also, watch out for Lisa, who runs things. Our family thinks Lisa only cares about money and doesn't care how hard she makes things for families. The place and other staff were really good, but since Lisa is in charge of everything, I'd look for a different place to live.

"Great care and tasty meals make this place worth it"
Families should be active in communicating with the staff about their needs. Every time I make a request, they handle it very well. The meals are a big highlight, especially for my loved one who has specific tastes. The food is tasty, like homemade cooking, with plenty of choices and large portions. She also enjoys having her hair done on-site, which is a great service. We’re glad she’s safe and happy there, and the interactions with other residents are pleasant.

"Room Sizes and Dining Not Ideal, but Good Tour Experience"
I had a nice visit at Mustang Creek Estates. They did a great job explaining everything well and answering my questions. The rooms here were too small for my loved one, and we weren't fond of how they handled dining.
