"Lacking end-of-life planning. Energetic, caring staff. Investigate carefully for hospice."

My mom couldn't stay at Mustang Creek. She died before moving. For end-of-life care, families should plan carefully with Mustang and their Hospice. The staff at the house is lively, considerate, and caring.

My mother's transition was made easy by [name removed]'s knowledge and experience. Mustang Creek Estates in Keller felt like a miracle—a wonderful home setting with great attention given to my mom. It truly was the best place for her at the end of life. Thank you, Mustang Creek in Keller!

"Mustang Creek: Caring Staff and Tasty Meals!"

The staff is awesome! They're improving things, with a nurse available during the week. They genuinely care about the residents. Housekeeping is okay, and they're striving to get better. The meals are tasty. Moving in was an incredible experience, and the staff was super helpful. I'd recommend Mustang Creek.

"Facility needs better cleaning, especially in the kitchen"

My loved one lives at Mustang Creek Estates Keller. Overall, the place needs better cleaning. Housekeeping should do more than just wipe surfaces, and the kitchen needs a thorough cleaning.

This place is a great choice for a family member who needs help but doesn’t need full nursing home care yet. They have fun activities and a home-like feel. The staff is safe and kind. We chose this community because it’s affordable and feels like home.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Improvement"

is difficult to work with. They say she's available 24/7 and the go-to person. I know she has to sleep, but when you talk to her about real problems, you can hear her frustration. Another thing that makes me mad is they say the patients' rooms get a deep clean once a week. That is not true. I end up cleaning my loved one's room. The food is okay. A couple of girls cook pretty well, but if they aren't there, it's not good. The same girls have to care for, cook, do laundry, give medicine, and take care of 14 people. This place is not running smoothly. It's like there's a new problem every day. Thankfully, the girls are good to my loved one, but I will be looking elsewhere.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short in Care and Service"

My family member stayed at Mustang Creek Estates Keller. Our time there wasn't good. Each shift only had two Aides. I saw both Aides leave the building, leaving residents unattended. They promised cleaning but didn't deliver. Meals were late and not good. I wouldn't suggest this place.

"Cramped and Loud: Mustang Creek Disappoints on First Impression"

When my family visited Mustang Creek, we didn't even make it past the front entrance. The moment we stepped in, we saw that the living room, dining room, and kitchen were all packed tightly together - it was super cramped. The facility was noisy and looked messy. I just told the lady who greeted us that there was no point in wasting her time because I knew my sister wouldn't be happy here.

"Disappointing Experience at Mustang Creek Estates Assisted Living Facility"

My family didn't like Mustang Creek Estates. It's not doing well. My mom didn't get the care we paid for. The building looks nice, and the staff try hard. But they're not great cooks, so the food is bland and tasteless. There's too much carbs and not enough veggies. Once, nobody was around when a resident left, setting off alarms. It took a while for help to come. The residents got scared and pulled the fire tag. The staff didn't handle it well, and everyone felt unsafe.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. However, the place seemed a bit too outdated for our taste, and the rooms were like those in an older house.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Great Staff, Clean Houses, No Medical Staff"

This place is nice, but it's not right for a couple. It's better suited for a single person. The staff was excellent, and all the houses were clean. We really like the area, but we wish the rooms were bigger. However, the biggest issue for us is that there's no medical staff on site.

"Outstanding Care and Beautiful Home for Dementia Patients"

I was struggling to find a new home for my cousin with dementia. He had been in a nursing home where he was hurt by another resident, breaking his elbow and needing surgery. I knew I had to move him right away. I visited Mustang Creek Estates and was amazed by the units. They were beautiful and each unit felt like its own little house. The place had secure, peaceful, gated patios. It felt like moving into a home with lots of bedrooms. Plus, the cost was much lower than the nursing home. When we decided to move my cousin, everyone was very helpful and friendly. She quickly made it happen in about 4 days. She went above and beyond to make the transfer smooth and continued to offer great options. I’m relieved knowing my cousin is well cared for. I’m extremely happy with Mustang Creek Estates.

"Taking great care of mom and keeping her active!"

Mustang Creek Estates Keller is doing a really good job. They take great care of her and her needs. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We appreciate that they don't hesitate to call if anything comes up with my mom. Communication with the staff is excellent. She enjoys the food, and I’ve seen it—it looks really good. They're great about helping her get to activities in different buildings and keeping her involved and active. They also provide transportation for outings and trips outside the community. I would recommend this place to others.

"Peace of Mind in Comfortable Assisted Living Environment"

My mom is doing really well here since we moved her. She has her own room which is nice for her. The people who work here are really nice and professional and kind. Mom likes the food here. There's a small garden out back where they can enjoy the fresh air. The place is very safe - only the staff have the code to get in and out. It makes me feel really good knowing that mom is safe and secure, especially with her eyesight getting worse.

"Enjoyed Time Here Despite Some Shortcomings"

When my spouse was at this place, he adjusted nicely. He got along well with the employees and other people living there. He particularly loved spending time with the other guys there, watching games and discussing sports. The facility was arranged in a way that felt cozy and homelike, with individual houses. He also liked the food they served.

My mom's doing great in her new home. She's happy and comfy. She's not into socializing much, so she hasn't joined any activities yet. The dining hall is just across from her room, so she eats there for every meal. The food is okay, not the best but not the worst either. The staff is nice and keeps everything clean. I'd recommend this place.

"Great care and comfort for loved ones"

This is a great place for care. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The community is clean with a nice atmosphere. The menu is good, and she likes the variety. We’re glad to see her joining in on the fun activities. We would definitely recommend this community to other families for the excellent care and value.

"Unique In Its Own Way"

It's a budget-friendly place for my mom. They told us about management changes, and while it's not perfect now, I'm confident they'll address everything. Residents wear a button necklace for emergencies. When our AC had issues, they adjusted our rent for 7 days. They're responsive to our needs. There are 5 buildings, each with 15 residents. They have their own kitchens, and everyone eats together—no cafeteria style. Plus, all the help is included in the rent, not extra.

"Mixed Feelings About This Assisted Living Facility"

When I went to visit this place, it looked pretty clean. The folks I talked to seemed friendly, but it costs a bit more than what we were aiming for. The meals were tasty. Some folks mentioned that the staff weren't as attentive as they claimed to be. It seems like they might not have enough people working here.

"Decent Place but Small and a Little Too Expensive"

The rooms are pretty tiny and set up in a group layout. We did see some happy people living there and they serve meals that taste like they're homemade. However, this setup just didn't work for us and it was a little too expensive for the amount of space you get.

I had a good time touring this place. Everything was nice and clean. The staff were friendly, nice, and informative. They treated my family and me well. Unfortunately, it wasn't the right fit for my dad's needs.

We were at Mustang Creek Keller for a short time. It's a friendly place with tasty food and it's perfect for easy-going older folks who don't need a lot of help. But if your loved one struggles with dementia, it's not the best choice. In fact, our mom managed to get out, even from their memory care unit.

My mother’s move to this community has been great. The staff are friendly and easy to talk to. She really likes it here; the place is always clean. The meals are healthy and the portions are just right. Most importantly, I feel she is safe and surrounded by wonderful people.

"Clean, friendly, and attentive assisted living with great food!"

Our time at Mustang Creek Estates was really good! At first, it was a bit unsure, but once everyone settled, it got much better! The place is clean and neat, and the folks there are super nice. I like how they split residents into groups of 12, so they get lots of personal care and really bond with the staff. Plus, the food is awesome, just like homemade!

"Moving on: Caregivers Overworked, Little Resident Interaction"

We are moving Mother after 5 months. They can't keep caring staff, and there are too many residents for each caregiver—around 15 to 1. The daily staff only manage to provide meals and some cleaning, with little time left to interact with the residents.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living, but Overall Positive"

This place feels like home and has everything included, which is great. But, my mom's been here for 2 1/2 weeks and still won't bathe, which should've been sorted out earlier. The helpers are nice, but some seem new and inexperienced. Overall, it's a good spot.

My mother seems happy at Mustang Creek Estates of Keller. She loves that they allow pets, and she enjoys having her pet with her. The whole place is kept really clean. The staff is very caring and has been great at meeting my mom's needs. She's eating well and loves the new friends she’s made.

"Mom Loves It Here – Great Care and Comfort"

My mother is doing great here. She loves it! The size is perfect for her, and she feels comfortable. It's smaller than other places we looked at. They give her excellent care, and she’s safe and well taken care of. I highly recommend this place.

This place is super cozy, my mom feels like it's her own house! Can't find anything bad about Mustang Creek Estates of Keller. Everything's awesome, the staff's awesome, and we're super happy.

"Subpar Caretaker Training at Mustang Creek Estates"

Regrettably, our time at Mustang Creek Estates hasn't been so great. The place itself is actually very pleasant, with a homey feel, and they serve really good food. But, the caretakers here, including those who manage the medications, don't seem to have proper training. We've seen many errors made concerning our family member's care.

I really like Mustang Creek Estates! The staff is friendly and professional, and the place is clean. My loved one is doing well here. They could be more thorough during the tour and move-in process, though. Overall, it’s a very nice place, and I recommend checking it out!

"Short Stay, Unhappy With 30 Day Notice"

We didn't stay long. My family member had to go to the hospital and wasn't going to return. It surprised me that we still had to pay for the next month, since they require a 30 day notice. I hear it's the same even if someone dies, you need to give that 30 day notice.

Moving mom here was a great choice. The facility is really nice, and I’m happy with the care she’s getting. After a few tough moves, it’s great to find a place doing such a good job. I’d give them a five-star rating if five is the highest.

"Great place, but needs more staff."

My husband is at this community. The place is beautiful, and they try their best to keep him safe. But there have been changes with the head nurse, and there doesn't seem to be enough staff in memory care. We had issues with his medication and asked for a change. They lost many of his things, like his glasses, shoes, and clothes. I had to replace a lot of items.
