"Promised care lacking, disappointed with food and weekend staff"
We were promised more care; weekend staff is disappointing. Smaller houses are nice, but food quality is poor.

"Understaffed Facility with Terrible Conditions"
My family member lived at Mustang Creek Estates Sachse. There weren't enough staff. Everything seemed bad.

"Great place for quiet seniors, but not for active ones"
I chose this place because it was new and clean. I’d recommend it if your loved ones are not very active. But for a senior who’s used to staying busy, there’s not much to do here. They’d end up spending most of their time alone in their room. The place is very clean and modern, but it wasn’t the right fit for my mom.

"“Avoid This Assisted Living Facility”"
The staff is always outside or busy with their own kids or family. Patients wait for hours for anything they need. Our family member has fallen multiple times and stayed on the floor for a long time. When we ask staff what happened, they say they don’t know or weren’t there. The food isn’t good, and if someone can’t open a food wrapper, they’re out of luck. Rooms are always dirty, and staff insists they’re clean. The laundry room is a mess, and patients wear each other’s clothes. Items go missing from rooms and are never found. Sometimes staff doesn’t answer when we call to check on our family member. Complaining to the lady in charge rarely helps; she’s often unavailable or has a bad attitude.

"Perfect Place for Mom: Cozy, Friendly, and Home-Cooked Meals"
The community is wonderful! It’s just what my mom needed. The homes have a nice, cozy setup for living and eating. Meals are cooked fresh every day. It doesn’t feel like a typical institution at all. The staff is super friendly, warm, and welcoming. I can't praise it enough!!!

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Staffing and Care Quality"
The bosses didn't give enough help or money for proper care. The big bosses didn't listen or care. They never called back or fixed problems. There weren't enough workers, especially at night. Some workers were not very grown-up and didn't know much. One cared more about friends and nails than helping people. Only two workers did everything. Some workers weren't trained but filled in anyway. You couldn't trust the nursing care without watching closely. The doctor they said was available wasn't helpful. The rehab choices were not good. It's not a good place unless you're there every day. The activities were more for kids than adults. Sometimes they watched scary movies, which upset people. The place seemed nice but wasn't what they said. I wouldn't tell anyone to go there unless they could take care of themselves completely and tell their family if something was wrong. Maybe it's better now, but be careful if you choose it.

"Care Nightmare Unleashed!"
It's like the absolute worst place ever. They didn't even look after my family member, who was just left alone. The people who were supposed to care for everyone? Nowhere to be seen. And the food? Yikes, it was terrible. The staff? Not trained at all. Seriously, watch out!

"Great staff, needs more variety and frequent check-ins"
The staff is very friendly, caring, and compassionate. They try hard to do their best, and mostly they do a great job. They just need more staff to check on patients more often. The food and activities could have more variety. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for your family member.

"Inadequate Care and Meals at Assisted Living Facility"
They have different housing for residents based on their care needs. Our loved one's bedding was only changed twice in a couple of months, and it wasn't kept clean. There weren't enough staff members – one person had to handle laundry, cooking, showering, and cleaning, which was overwhelming. While some staff were nice, there just weren't enough of them. The meals were inadequate, lacking freshness in vegetables, and portion sizes were too small. On days when there was nothing for residents to eat, they would order fast food.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Experience For Mother At This Facility"
My mother stayed there for 2 months. There were only a couple caregivers looking after twelve residents who were disoriented, unable to control their bladder, and often wandered around. Multiple times, residents fell down, with ambulances visiting on a frequent basis. The food, prepared by untrained caregivers, was typically so tough that it was hard to eat. Their system for answering calls was a real cowbell, but it was modified to the point where it wouldn't even make a sound. They wouldn't supply grape juice or cottage cheese, and insisted families had to provide these. Paying 4,000 dollars a month, they should have supplied them. Incorrect medication dosages, no entertainment, and most days, I had to bathe my mother myself.......absurd! I moved her back to Rittenhouse Village and a few others followed suit!

"Highly recommended, even if we don’t choose it!"
I really enjoyed my visit to Mustang Creek Estates. It has everything I was looking for in a place for my dad. It’s clean, bright, and has state-of-the-art amenities. More importantly, the staff I met, especially [Name], seem to genuinely care about the residents. It’s competitively priced, though it’s at the top end of what my dad can afford. Whether we choose this facility or not, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an assisted living community.

"Feels like home with caring staff and great activities."
The staff here have gone above and beyond caring for my mother. They treat her like their own family, and everyone here feels like family. It’s a small facility with only 16 residents, so there’s a great staff-to-resident ratio. The meals are made right in front of everyone, and my mom loves the food. They have activities like a choir, games, and visits from local school kids. The place looks like a home and is very beautiful. I would recommend this community to other families.
