New Haven Assisted Living & Memory Care of Spring

"Mixed Experience in Assisted Living Facility"
After some time adjusting, it turned out to be a decent place overall. One problem we had was when my loved one went in for a short stay but ended up staying permanently after a fall. There seemed to be a gap between the short-term and long-term care - something was missing in that change. If you move in straight as a resident, you might get more details about their procedures. They seemed to assume he and our family already knew everything, but we didn't. The dining room wasn't used much by residents. He was usually one of about five people who came for meals, so it could get lonely. In the 9 months he stayed there, they had three different directors. But the caregivers were really kind. They were friendly to everyone, which was comforting. The activities director was great. He was able to bring his own furniture, so it felt like home. The room and bathroom were a good size and comfortable.

"Great Place with Fun Activities and Friendly Staff"
Our family visits a couple of times a week, and we really like the well-kept grounds and facility. The smaller size of the place is nice. They have fun activities like going to restaurants, country singers, and balloon events. We also get emails with pictures of what’s happening, which is nice. Based on our experience, we would recommend this community to others.

"Smaller, caring community with good food and helpful staff"
This is a smaller community with about 17 residents per building. The company has many other locations. They have a big, open kitchen in the common area, and the food is pretty good. My mom has been well cared for, and I think she wouldn’t be as well off in a larger community. They’ve been very helpful with the quarantine challenges. I would recommend them.

"Top-notch Care and Comfort for Loved Ones"
This assisted living facility is extremely clean. The Memory Care unit provided my Uncle with the highest level of care. Nurse is very thorough and friendly. She quickly addressed my questions and worries, which reassured me about moving my Uncle here. The food selection is impressive, with a menu like you'd find in a restaurant.

"Great improvements and community feel at New Haven!"
My husband lives at Spring community in assisted living. Since the new executive director took over things have improved a lot. She keeps in touch with families regularly through emails and posts about upcoming activities. There’s a great sense of family and community at New Haven. The residents had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration, and the feeling of togetherness was clear. After many changes in the first six months, New Haven now has stability. Kudos to New Haven! I recommend this community.

"Great New Memory Care Facility, Some Room for Improvement"
It's the best memory care I've found for my Mom. Since it's new, they're still figuring out employees and policies. The workers are very nice. The buildings and rooms are very nice. The food is very good.
