New Haven Assisted Living & Memory Care of Wylie (Opening Summer 2018)

"Close-knit assisted living with attentive care and family gatherings."
Our experience here has been good. I appreciate knowing someone is always watching over them 24/7. The community isn't very large, and I like that. They host wonderful family parties almost every month, which is nice. I chose this place because it's near my home. Other places I considered were pricier and offered extras like exercise rooms, but this is a good value for the money.

"Bad Experience at New Haven Assisted Living in Wylie"
My family member lived at New Haven Assisted Living and Memory Care in Wylie, and her time there wasn't nice at all. I seriously wouldn't tell anyone to choose this place. It was a really bad experience for us.

"Overall positive; friendly staff; new facility concerns; great meals."
I think it's been a good place for my parents. The staff is really friendly. The only issue is because it's so new, they started moving people in too early. When my parents moved into their apartment, they were still painting. The meals have been the best part; my parents really enjoy the food.

"Assisted Living Falls Short in Meal Service and Activities"
The food wasn't great or punctual, causing problems for residents who need to take meds with meals. Plus, they promised activities during the week, but either they didn't happen or our loved one wasn't informed.

"Avoid This Facility: Failed Promises, Neglected Care"
We had to relocate my mom on account of her developing bed sores and not receiving her medications on schedule, which caused her to suffer greatly. I caution others that if your loved ones are unable to care for themselves, this place isn't right for them. We were guaranteed several amenities initially, but they ultimately couldn't deliver them. Our experience with this facility was downright awful, I would advise against other people considering it for their family member.

"Improving Assisted Living with Caring Staff and Food Adjustments"
The staff is really nice and caring. They listen and communicate well. The food could be better, but overall, things are improving every day. It would be good if they could keep the same staff for longer.

"Feels like home with community and city amenities nearby."
I live at New Haven Assisted Living and I really like it here. It's smaller than other places like this, which makes it feel cozy and more like my own home. I used to live in Wylie before moving here, and Wylie is a nice city for families. There are good schools and a great library there. Ballard Street is a small village with unique shops and places to eat, and they have a lot of community events there. There's also a really nice playground. We have plenty of churches here, and they do a lot to help out the community. The Fire Department and the Police Department are also very good at what they do and are always ready to lend a hand.
