"Visiting Aunt's Assisted Living Facility: Mixed Experience with Staff"
A frequent visitor mentioned staff not engaging with patients, often gossiping or on phones. Despite a missed doctor's appointment despite prior arrangement, the executive director assured it won't recur. The director appears competent. However, dissatisfaction with CNAs persists. The facility maintains cleanliness and serves satisfactory meals.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Promises and Accountability"
Mom stayed here for a year. At first, things seemed okay, but soon we realized the promises about changing sheets, helping with dentures, hearing aids, showers, and providing doctor-ordered supplements were hit or miss. These were supposed to be extra services, but I ended up doing them most of the time. The management doesn't make sure employees do their jobs properly. The medical technicians would lie about giving Mom supplements. Sometimes she wouldn't get a shower for a week or more until I came and did it. Even after talking to the Directors, things only improved temporarily. The care staff changes a lot, and many aren't trained well to handle different situations, especially with dementia patients. A few employees, like those at the front desk, activities director, chef, physical therapy staff, and a couple of caregivers Mom loved, were great. After a year of increasing stress, we moved Mom to a different facility, and it was the best choice we could've made.

"Memory Care Felt Like a Second Thought, Lacked Warmth"
Our family visited the place and saw that the area for memory care was all the way at the end of the building. It kind of felt like it wasn’t a big part of their plan. Also, it didn’t really feel like a family setting to us.

"Assisted Living Review: Pleasant Community, Limited Meal Options, Room for Improvement"
The community is friendly and welcoming with a kind staff and lots of activities. However, the kitchen needs improvement as meals often differ from what's advertised, with very few choices and frequent substitutions. Special requests aren't well accommodated.
