"Caring Staff and Cozy Setting at Orchard Park"
We picked Orchard Park because it has smaller units. There are only about 18 people in the memory care area. The staff really seems to care about what's happening. Some people leave and new ones come, but mostly it's the same caregivers, which is great for me.

"Caring Staff and Good Value"
The staff was friendly and helped us quickly when we needed to move our loved one here. Despite limited interaction due to Covid, they’re accommodating and resourceful. We feel it’s a good value – our loved one gets three meals a day, isn’t isolated, and receives great care.

"Facility Neglects Residents, Misplaces Belongings; Not Recommended"
This place is careless about their residents and doesn't provide enough food. A friend of ours has a family member in here and faces the same issues. They are ignoring our phone calls and when we collected her belongings, stuff was missing. They treat the residents and their families badly. Don't send your loved ones here.

"“Great Assisted Living Community!”"
Meet the staff, taste the food, and explore the place to understand the care your loved one will get. I’d recommend this community.

"Ask Questions and Get Everything in Writing for Peace of Mind"
Make sure you ask lots of questions and write down what you're told. Also, know everyone who lives here. The rooms are big and comfy, and the food's okay, served like in a restaurant. I think you should check out this place, but make sure you do some research first.

"Orchard Park Assisted Living Review"
Before COVID, Orchard Park had great activities like live entertainment and support dogs for residents. We were impressed by how clean and cozy it felt, with no bad smells. The food was okay, just average.

"Communication Concerns at Assisted Living Facility"
Everyone is really nice. The place is clean and smells good. Our Nana is happy and active. The only issue is sometimes communication isn’t great. She missed a doctor’s appointment because of a missed message.

"Friendly experience!"
I had a good experience at this community for my loved one. The staff were punctual and answered my questions thoroughly. However, it wasn't the right fit in the end.

"Not the same place we started at"
Staff excellent. Residents lack communication. Food okay. Staffing changes affected.

"Promises Broken at Assisted Living Facility"
I'm really not happy with how things went at this place. I talked to a woman who showed us around, and she made promises to us twice but didn't keep them. It made me think - if they can't keep their word now, what guarantees that they will when my wife moves in? I didn't like their work behavior and I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone.

"Attractive Facility Fails in Care and Keeping of Residents"
We looked for a place for my dad about a year ago, and this facility really caught our eye. It looked great and the folks who worked there seemed nice. But that was about all the good we found. They didn't have any medical staff and didn't keep a close eye on the residents. We ended up moving dad elsewhere, even though I've never been a fan of nursing homes. But this experience did change my opinion. Orchard Park might look nice, but what really matters is the care they give. When we moved him out, his belongings were missing or damaged, including his glasses and false teeth. I'd think twice before placing your loved one here.

"Sadly Disappointed: Pretty Place, Poor Care"
We needed a place for my dad about a year ago and this facility seemed impressive at first glance. It's a lovely environment with a welcoming aura, and the personnel seemed cordial. Sadly, that's as far as the positives go. This place doesn't have any medical professionals and the residents aren't monitored as much as they should be. We relocated him to a different home eventually. I've had nursing experience and I've always been skeptical of nursing homes, but ironically, it was a nursing home where he ended up. I'm still not quite fond of them, but it's definitely made me think differently. Orchard Park may be attractive, but what your family needs isn't beauty, it's proper care. Furthermore, we noticed a lot of his belongings, including his eyewear and teeth had mysteriously disappeared when we moved him, along with a bunch of damaged furniture. I wouldn't advise anyone to send their loved ones here.

"Unsatisfactory Care and Lack Of Responsibility at the Orchard"
At Orchard, my dad's care was not up to the mark. They did not change him or feed him if he was sleeping. Lots of residents were falling and even dying because of their poor treatment. My dad's stuff got stolen too and we never recovered it. I wouldn't suggest this place to anybody at all.

"Worst Experience Ever at the Orchard!"
While my dad was staying at the Orchard, they refused to change his clothes or bedding. They wouldn't even stir him from sleep to provide him a meal. The lack of proper care from the staff resulted in many residents falling and sadly, losing their lives. I would advise everyone not to choose this place! On top of that, while my dad was there many of his belongings went missing and we never recovered them.

"Mixed Reviews for Assisted Living Facility"
The place is really nice, new, and clean. The marketing director knows a lot. But when I looked at their social media, almost all my friends (except one) strongly advised against placing your mother there!

"Cozy Living at Orchard Park"
My wife is doing well at Orchard Park. It's clean, nice, and she has her own spacious room with a private bathroom. The nurses and staff are always friendly, and the food is enjoyable, especially breakfast. Overall, it's been a great experience, and I'd recommend this community.

"Disappointing Experience With Overcharging and Poor Care"
Our experience here wasn't great. My family member fell out of bed and ended up in a coma. They messed up his laundry and even had him dressed in someone else’s clothes. The room was cleaned just once every week. They neglected his personal hygiene, never even giving him a bath, and unused towels piled up. Although the nurses were friendly, the billing was inaccurate, making us pay more than expected. We were really let down. For the life of me, I can't understand why they didn’t even provide a basic sponge bath. I wouldn't suggest this place to others.

"I am pleased with their efforts so far."
Management communicates efficiently with us. The community is clean, and the staff is friendly. Although they were initially understaffed, they provided good general care. However, memory care needs more specific training. They’re attentive to our concerns and willing to make improvements. Everyone wears multiple hats until they’re properly staffed. The activities director is stretched thin. Remarkably, they handle unique challenges well, especially emergency responses. During a bad rainstorm, they managed a flood impressively.

"Great care and clean rooms at Orchard Park Memory Care"
The staff at Orchard Park Memory Care are amazing with my mom. She feels really at ease there, which is super important for someone with moderate dementia. The food is tasty, and the rooms are spacious. They have lots of activities designed for people with dementia and hold family events often. Every time I visit, she’s always clean, and her room and bathroom are spotless. If there's ever a problem, they fix it quickly as soon as you let them know.

"Working Out Some Bugs"
Actually, the staff there are the ones who do the cleaning, but I think they should have a cleaning service. We're in a town that's doing well economically, so it's tough to find workers. The facility is new, which is nice because it's not a full nursing home—it's assisted living. Our situation involves Alzheimer's, so we're in the memory care part. Even though the memory care isn't full nursing, it serves its purpose. The prices are reasonable compared to other places. Since they're a new facility, they're still figuring things out and working through the challenges.

"Too New"
The rooms were smaller than Emeritus. Since it's new, there aren't many residents, and it's farther away. My mom worried no one would visit. The food was good.
