"Disappointing Memory Care Experience"
Starting out here was nice, but dealing with memory care is hard. Sometimes, residents can't communicate what's happening. Some items disappeared even though it's a locked facility. The worst part was after my loved one passed away. They said they'd pack up her things, but when I went to collect them, everything was in loose trash bags in the garage. I wasn't allowed to ask the staff questions, and the manager wasn't around. You don't get back what you brought in.

"Misleading promises, inadequate care; not recommended for loved ones."
They lied about everything! They said they cook, but it's just microwaved fish sticks. Supposed to be 24-hour care, but they close at 5 pm. Can't even give medicine right—used up a month's supply in 2 weeks! My sister had a sore for 3 weeks, they didn't treat it until I asked. Moved her out, but she got infected within a week! Don't send anyone here!

"Poor care and oversight, avoid this facility."
Don't need permission to visit, understaffed, unclean, unlicensed, risky.

"Highly Recommended Assisted Living!"
Our family really likes OSA Heritage Homes. It’s close to us, and there’s great shopping nearby. Based on our experience, we’d definitely recommend it to other families.

"Concerns Over Care and Policies at Assisted Living Facility"
While the cost is reasonable, there are some worrying issues at this assisted living facility. It's unsettling that they don't welcome family visits without scheduling them first. They even told the hospice nurses they didn't want the bathing aids to come. They used double diapers on our loved one, reducing the number of bathroom trips. Personal belongings started to go missing. When our loved one had a fall and was hospitalized, they didn't send any personal items or medications as promised.

"Communication Hurdles Impact Assisted Living Experience"
I never got to tour the place. I went up to the door, and a lady answered. She told me to call Joe from my car using a specific phone number. When I called, she handed the phone to Joe like he was right there. But I couldn’t figure out if he was at a different location or if I needed to go somewhere else. It was confusing, so I gave up. If we couldn’t talk properly then, how would we handle things if something went wrong with my mom living there?

"Homey atmosphere with good communication and full vaccination"
I like that this place feels like a home. I can easily reach the community and talk to my mom whenever I want. We don’t get a lot of updates, but they answer our questions well. They let us know about the vaccinations, and the community is fully vaccinated.

"Feels like home with caring, respectful staff"
Our first impression was that this place felt like home, not just a facility. They were very loving and caring with our loved one, treating her with respect. We would recommend this community.

"Mixed Experience at Osa Heritage Homes for Seniors"
I'm writing about Osa Heritage Homes where my mom stayed for seven months last year. I'll give it 3 stars because it's good in some ways and not so much in others. The house is nice, in a new neighborhood, with each client having their own room or sharing a bathroom. It's the nicest among many care homes I saw. However, most clients need more help than my mom, which made her feel lonely. She thought she needed more help than she actually did. The staff are loving and caring but there are no activities to keep clients entertained. The food was okay at first but got worse over time. The house is kept very warm, which made my mom uncomfortable. It's dark and gloomy inside, which I didn't like. They have security measures in place. The owner takes clients to doctor appointments and checks on them daily. Medication is monitored. Overall, it's good for those with dementia but not for those who need less help.

"Facility Lacks Proper Wheelchair Accessibility"
The restrooms looked like they weren't adjusted for folks with disabilities. The outside space was too tight and lacked a ramp for an easy entrance and exit with a wheelchair.

"Disappointing Visit to Assisted Living Facility"
I was excited to check out this place since it's in a good spot. A person showed me around. They were nice. But when they opened the door, a bad smell hit me only showed me the rooms with open beds. They didn't show me the kitchen or any other rooms. It felt weird.

"Nice Staff!!"
The person who showed me around was really friendly and answered my questions. The community was well-maintained, and the bedrooms were nice. The staff I met during the tour were attentive, although I didn't see much interaction between staff and residents. They offer a variety of meal options.
