"Great Place with Friendly Staff, But Meals Need Improvement"
Overall, Oxford Grand at McKinney is a great place. The staff is really nice, and there are lots of activities for the residents. However, our loved one doesn’t like the meals. We would still recommend this community to other families based on our experience so far.

"Mixed Feelings About Care and Staff in Assisted Living Facility"
Overall, it's pretty nice, but sometimes when things go wrong or my loved one gets worse, it feels like I have to figure out what to do. Some of the staff are really good, but others aren't as helpful. It seems like some things they're not used to dealing with.

"Disappointed by Changes at Oxford Grand Assisted Living"
Oxford Grand at McKinney used to be better, but things changed, especially when the manager changed. We might suggest this place to other families, but it depends on their needs.

"Friendly Staff and Great Care at Oxford Grand"
We chose Oxford Grand because it’s in a good location and the staff are super friendly. The price is high, but it’s better than other places. They had space available when others had waiting lists. Right now, there’s a waiting list for memory care. The staff are very kind to [name removed]. They include him in activities and encourage him. He’s doing more here than he did in independent living. He really likes the food, and he’s healthy and well cared for, which is what matters most. I would recommend Oxford Grand at McKinney to other families.

"Inadequate Care and Poor Communication at Assisted Living Facility"
My experience at this assisted living facility was terrible. We were treated horribly, which shouldn't happen to anyone. They completely messed up on a lot of things. When Medicaid stopped covering the cost, they told us to leave. They gave us barely any time, just two days, to find another place to stay, which was not fair at all. It was really disappointing how they handled the situation. Even after everything happened, they said they'd call us back, but they didn't. It was just a very stressful experience dealing with them. They also wrongly reported that my mom was being aggressive, which was absolutely not the case. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I'm giving it a 0 out of 5-star rating.
