"Friendly staff, but no spacious rooms available during visit"
Our family visited and the staff were really friendly. However, we were in a hurry and couldn’t find any good rooms with enough space.

"Excellent Care and Smooth Transition"
My experience with this facility has been 5 stars. I heard about it from a friend. I moved my mom here from another well-known place in Bedford after she fell. I'm so happy we got her in because there's usually a waiting list. This place is busy and full of life. The staff, from the social worker to the nurses and nursing assistants, have been amazing. After recovering in their skilled nursing wing, she moved to their assisted living wing. We've received excellent service from everyone, including Admissions, Nursing, therapy, activities director, nurse aides, kitchen staff, handyman, and more. Just what the doctor ordered! Mom has been treated with great care, respect, and consideration. Her move from one wing to another was smooth thanks to their attention. The Head Nurse in the assisted wing works hard to keep everything running well. The residents seem very happy too. In summary, we are glad we chose this facility for Mom and know she's well cared for.

"The Social Worker Here is Unkind and Unhelpful"
The Social Worker, is super unkind and doesn't provide any help or understanding. It feels like she's not suited for this line of work. In a place like this, the folks living here and their loved ones ought to be her main focus, but she just didn't assist us with any of our concerns. She'd actually snicker at things we said or asked. It's really upsetting that someone like her works at a place like this!

"Don't let Parkwood's Appearance Fool You"
The conditions have only deteriorated over time. The staff here are often cranky and handle the residents in a highly disrespectful manner! If you have a family member at Parkwood, know that you have my daily prayers!

"Understaffed Parkwood Leads to Patient Frustration"
Parkwood really doesn't have enough staff in the long term section. You end up waiting forever just to get help with basic stuff like using the bathroom, getting in and out of bed, or changing clothes. Plus, getting back to your room from the dining room can take way more than an hour! Usually, they're lucky if they even have 2 CNAs for an entire hall.

"Satisfied with Parkwood Healthcare Community"
My husband’s been at Parkwood Healthcare Community for a year and a half. The staff works really hard, even though it’s not always easy. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I’ve already told others about Parkwood because it’s a really nice place with nice people. It’s a great deal, and they have tons of fun things to do. Everything has been wonderful, and I’m just really happy with our experience.

"Dad Moved Due to Poor Facility Maintenance"
Very poor quality. My father stayed in a room with broken floor and the toilet was broken and constantly running. No repairs were made. That's why I transferred him.
