"Communication and Coordination Need Improvement"
My family member lives at Parsons House Preston Hollow. The staff is friendly and supportive, but sometimes they're short-staffed. Social events are nice, and family members are invited. The apartment location is convenient. Communication and medical coordination need improvement.

"Assisted Living Disappointment"
I thought it was nice initially, but during the tour, I noticed that [name removed] was discriminatory. In my opinion, they shouldn’t care for anyone there. I no longer support them.

"We Love Parsons House Our Perfect Home Away from Home"
My husband has lived at Parsons House for over 2 years, and we still feel as welcome and at home as we did on the first day. The management quickly and efficiently handles any issues that come up. The whole staff is friendly, helpful, and kind. The caregivers are dedicated and take great care of my husband with a lot of love. The chef makes tasty meals and always serves them with a smile and a nice word. We truly appreciate the PH staff and our PH family of friends. Parsons House really is our Home, Sweet Home.

"Limited care and cleanliness issues in Parson's House"
My folks live in Parson's House and we've seen a consistent lack of quality in their care. In fact, my dad thinks the people who work here are mean, so if he's not feeling good, he feels too uncomfortable to say anything. The facility saves money by employing workers who seem to lack the ability, knowledge, and interest in doing their job well. No real nurse works onsite, instead, we have "medical" staff who aren't registered nurses or licensed vocational nurses, or medical office Administrators. As such, their medical expertise doesn't go beyond giving medications and dialing 911. There's also a problem with the cleanliness. Shared spaces are left dirty and proper room cleaning seems to be neglected. I have never seen staff members clean their hands with sanitizer as they move from one room to another, not even when the flu was going around. While the small size of the community could be a plus for a resident with few care needs, I doubt my parent will stay here as he ages. His needs will become more complex and I don't believe they have the skills or knowledge here to help residents who need more care than just medicine dispensing.

"Best Assisted Living Experience at Parsons House"
My mom has been living at Parsons House for a year now. Everyone there is very professional, welcoming, and patient. The caregivers are fantastic and treat my mom with great care, even in tough situations. The food is tasty, and the kitchen staff is quick to handle special needs and requests. The medical staff is excellent at managing medications and addressing any special needs. Even though Parsons House is smaller than many other places, there are still plenty of activities, and families are encouraged to join in. The rooms, common areas, and grounds are always well-kept. My mom’s great-grandchildren love the chickens, and we can buy fresh eggs too! Out of all the assisted living places my mom has been, Parsons House is our favorite.

"Perfect blend of care and coziness"
I can't say enough good things about The Parsons House. We checked out several assisted living places in Dallas and chose Parsons House after someone told my husband that his mom got the best care there. We were so happy to find it was the perfect mix of caring, professionalism, and coziness. The staff-to-resident ratio is great, and it's privately owned with the owners there every day. Even though my mom doesn't have a pet, it's pet-friendly, and the owner's dog is the mascot. Parsons House feels like a family for all residents and their families, offering affordable care in a very clean, comforting environment.

"The Best Memory Care Experience"
We had an amazing experience with Mom at Parsons House Preston Hollow memory care facility. The staff and nurses at The Gardens Memory Care were so caring and made us feel reassured all the time. Mom had a rough time at another place, but when she moved to Parsons House, it felt like home. The chef cooks fresh, healthy meals, and the staff always kept us informed and were very kind. Parsons House was as close to home as we could have hoped for. They have a small number of rooms and a low staff-to-resident ratio. Parsons House helped save Mom and Dad's relationship and made her final years as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend Parsons House Preston Hollow, especially their Memory Care facility. Thank you, Parsons House.

"Excellent care and friendly staff at Parsons House Preston Hollow"
We are very happy with Parsons House Preston Hollow. It’s been a great experience for us and our loved one. The property is beautiful, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff are friendly and caring. They made sure my dad has the perfect room. Even the maintenance team is positive and skilled. Communication with the staff is easy; they call or text me about my dad’s well-being. The care at Parsons House is outstanding. They do a daily report during shift changes and check on all residents regularly. The front office staff go above and beyond. The residents get individual attention, and the food is great. They have their own chickens, so the eggs are fresh. They encourage residents to join in activities. I highly recommend this community to others.

"Welcoming Atmosphere!"
I recently toured this community for my loved one, and I don't have any complaints about how things went. The staff were punctual for our appointment and provided detailed answers to my questions. I appreciated the open floor plan and the various amenities available for residents. However, in the end, it simply wasn't the right fit for us.

"Perfect cozy spot for older loved ones transitioning from home"
I really liked this place. It was small and cozy, with a tiny dining area, so it wasn’t too big or overwhelming for older loved ones moving from their homes.

"A Welcoming Tour"
I visited Parsons House Preston Hollow, and everyone there was friendly and welcoming. They showed me around the facility, which looked clean. While it was a nice place, it didn't quite meet my expectations for my mother.

"Friday tour shows cleanliness, pricey rate, and understaffed care."
Visited on Friday, 8/22. The place was good, but it costs more than Bethesda Gardens. They only have two caregivers working at once, so I'm not convinced they can take care of 40 people living there. It could be a bit better because the people who handle food are different from the caregivers, so they can focus on their job. The place was very clean.

"Parsons House Preston Hollow: Warm, Personal Care and Great Value"
My mother and father-in-law have been living at Parsons House for about three months. One is in assisted living, and the other is in the memory care unit. My own mother is at a different memory care facility, where she’s been for over four years. I’ve found that my experiences with these places are quite different. Even though Parsons House doesn’t have all the fancy decorations that other places have, it really feels like home. It’s much cozier and more welcoming than an apartment building or hotel. I pay almost the same amount each month for my mother at the fancier place as I do for both of my in-laws at Parsons House. It’s a great deal, and I think my in-laws are getting better care here. I would move my mother to Parsons House, but since she is in the later stages of dementia, it wouldn’t be worth making such a big change. My husband and I have gotten to know several caregivers at Parsons House by name, which is really nice. The staff here seem to stay longer compared to the other facility, where I never know who is taking care of my mother each day. I don’t like that unpredictability. The management at Parsons House is excellent. It’s run by a husband and wife team who are very involved, unlike the more corporate facility where my mother is. This makes solving problems and concerns much easier. Overall, I’m very happy with Parsons House Preston Hollow and have recommended it to others looking for great elder care.

"A Cozy, Caring Community"
Parsons House Preston Hollow on Northwest Highway in Dallas is a cozy Assisted Living and Memory Care facility with about 60 apartments and around 45 residents as of 2014. The small size makes it feel like a real "home." There are lots of common areas like a dining room, living rooms, a game room/library, a space for chair exercises and lectures, and even a beauty salon. Even though there aren’t as many amenities as in bigger facilities, the residents get more personal attention from the staff. All the staff are friendly and professional, and they really seem to care about the residents! The food is served from a set menu, but the chef will make changes based on what residents like. The meals I’ve had as a guest are really tasty. Apartments range from 300 to 500+ square feet. The nursing staff keeps an eye on each resident’s needs and adjusts their care as needed. At Parsons House, your loved one won’t get lost in the crowd.

"Would recommend Parsons House to others"
My parents picked this place because of the staff and how close it is to home. At first, everything was great, but then we had a problem for about two weeks. Two employees messed up insurance stuff and doctor's appointments. They got fired, and everything got better. The problem was fixed, and we haven't had any more issues. That's why I'd recommend Parsons House.

"Loved it. Great room and view at NW Hwy and Midway."
Loved it. NW Hwy and Midway. Costs about $4,000 a month. Nice room with a great view, right next to the TV room. Took her to see it, and she really liked it. It’s one of the top choices.
