"Facility fell short in dementia care, lacked compassion and communication."
We moved our Mom to their Brook Hollow facility with high hopes. Everything seemed promising – the place looked beautiful, and they assured us they could handle dementia. Unfortunately, they weren't prepared for all the challenges of dementia. The home felt more like a museum, focused on appearance rather than love and care. Over four months, they kept changing Mom's medicines to "manage" her. When I called the owner about problems with the house manager and doctors, she said she'd get back to me, but instead, the house manager told us Mom had to leave. A few days later, we got a letter confirming it. The owner never called us, which says a lot. In the end, we're relieved they asked us to move because it wasn't the right place for Mom. We want her to live where she feels at home!

"Assisted Living Facility Nightmare: Aunt Forced Out Over Supplements"
So, like, this place we put our aunt in, totally didn't work out. They straight up told us she had to leave. Why? Because she was using these supplements she liked, and they were not cool with that. She didn't wanna take their meds 'cause she was already taking her own stuff for the same thing. Finally, they were like, "Yeah, come get her," and now we're stuck in this big legal mess with them. Can you believe it? They even tried to blame us for taking her out, even though they were the ones who said she had to bounce. Ugh, what a mess!
